After a rocky start, Herb Chambers was responsive to my needs and I bought a new 2010 Tahoe from them. I am extremely happy with my vehicle and purchase. I visited Herb Chambers a few weeks ago in November to be with my grandfather who was looking for a used but fairly new used car. My grandfather was greeted at the door by a gentleman who was very welcoming with my grandfather who was looking for a used but fairly new used car. My grandfather was greeted at the door by a gentleman who was very welcoming which put my grandfather at ease. My grandfather can be a little pushy at times but the salesman, Paul Blanchette listened patiently and answered all my grandfather's questions and concerns in a way that made my grandfather very pleased. We left the dealer a few hours later with all the paperwork signed to pick up the car later that week. My grandfather left dealership with a smile on his face and told the salesman that "he'd go far in this business." (My grandfather is usually not one to give out complements." I would recommend Herb Chambers in Danvers to anyone looking for a vehicle. The experience my grandfather and I had at Herb Chambers put car buying in a new light for us. We drove to the dealership feeling a little uptight about buying a vehicle and left feeling happy and accomplished. Thank you Mr. Blanchette for taking the time to make my grandfather feel special. On Saturday, after unsuccessfully trying to fix the Volvo, I decided to go car shopping. I went to Dodge across the street, Ira down the street, and then Herb Chambers. I ended up finding a great deal on a GMC Canyon. Herb Chambers has a great staff who went out of their way to put me in a vehicle. The staff helped me find the right truck, test drive it, obtain the financing, which all happened on Saturday. I was able to pick up the truck on Sunday. My hats off to a great team! In October I purchased a car from this dealership. I told Adam, the sales rep that helped me, I was looking for a lightly used Chevy Malibu. He did a little research for me and found a 2009 Malibu in Seakonk Adam, the sales rep that helped me, I was looking for a lightly used Chevy Malibu. He did a little research for me and found a 2009 Malibu in Seakonk (an hour and a half away) with 37,000 miles on it - mint condition. The next day they went and picked it up for me so that I could give it a test drive. They were very accomodating. This is the first car I have bought from a dealership and the process could not have gone smoother. I definately reccomend going to Herb Chambers Chevrolet Buick and Hummer. I had a great experience and will definately be a repeat customer. More
Adam is a great sales man I went there looking for a particular car and he sent me home with a better one. A blueish purple very rare colored 2005 chevy impala with under 50,000 miles on it, great inter particular car and he sent me home with a better one. Scott Lyon in the Service Department is the BEST!! I stopped in on Friday to make a service appointment. Scott fit me in the afternoon schedule, arranged for a ride home, had my car ready by 5 that aft stopped in on Friday to make a service appointment. Went car shopping last week and after visiting a couple dealers (where I was pretty much ignored) I went into Herb Chambers and was met by Jim Lynn. Jim was sincerely friendly, warm and he patiently listen dealers (where I was pretty much ignored) I went into Herb Chambers and was met by Jim Lynn. Jim was sincerely friendly, warm and he patiently listened (& took notes) as I went through my list of requirements of the used SUV I was looking for. Jim found 4 vehicles on the lot that met ALL of my needs; and made sure that I had test driven all of them before asking if one had stood out more than the others. He was knowledgeable of the features each vehicle had and he did a great job answering my questions. At no time did I feel pressured. My trade was a mess, both inside and out (seriously, it was gross) Jim good naturedly kidded me about it as he pointed out the non scratched or dented parts and asked if I wanted a couple of lawn bag to empty out the back seat. In the end though, he got me a pretty good price on the trade. I also mentioned Alexandra, shes the Finance Manager and she was also very patient and helpful and I feel she went above to get me a great rate and to get my payments where I needed them to be. Overall my experience with Jim Lynn and with Herb Chambers was a VERY positive one. I would recommend them to friends and family More
