I was looking for a new car to lease or buy. I had gone to a few dealers, not knowing what to buy. I was on the verge of buying a KIA SORENTO. I decided to drop by Herb Chambers in Danvers to look at the to a few dealers, not knowing what to buy. I was on the verge of buying a KIA SORENTO. I decided to drop by Herb Chambers in Danvers to look at the Chevys. I had such a great experience with your sales rep Jorge Filpo. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He went over my options with me. I decided to lease the 2014 Chevy Equinox. He was so thorough with every detail about my new car. The transaction was smooth, and stress free. He went above, and beyond any past car sales rep that I have worked with in the past. You are very lucky to have Jorge as an employee representing Herb Chambers. I would be very happy to recommend Jorge to anyone of my family members or friends when they need a car. When my lease is up, I know that I will be calling Jorge to help me find my next car!! I'll be the first to admit that I am a very demanding customer who does his homework and knows what he wants. My sales rep was Greg Ormiston. He listened carefully to what I was looking to pay for a new Chevy Silverado and assured me that he would try to meet meet my price. We went back and forth for three days, but I must say, there was no pressure to buy. The back and forth was friendly negotiations which was really almost one way (mine). Finally, we came to an agreement on the price and I'm happy to say Greg stood by his word word on all the extra's. I must congratulate the Herb Chambers management team for hiring and training such quality sales staff as Greg Ormiston. More
I had a great experience buying our new Chevy Malibu from Herb Chambers Chevy in Danvers. We were in somewhat of a complicated situation and that was understood by the sales manager Corey Upton before we wa Herb Chambers Chevy in Danvers. We were in somewhat of a complicated situation and that was understood by the sales manager Corey Upton before we walked in the door. Let me start off by saying this dealership treated us like we were buying a much more expensive car than what we were looking at. Upon arriving, Corey Upton greeted us and had us meet with Corey Stewart. Corey, is probably the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. I have bought about 6 cars previous to this purchase so I am somewhat experienced in this setting. I am in sales myself and I know a good salesman when I have the pleasure of dealing with one. We were offered coffee, ice cream, and water which is typically much more than any other dealership offers believe it or not. Corey was very patient with us as we test drove two different types of vehicles. We were looking originally at an Equinox but given the circumstances it was probably not in our price range. So, Corey the sales manager had Corey the salesman show us a Malibu and he delivered in every way. Corey Stewart is friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable about each car and their various options. He made it very easy for us to like the car given that is not what we originally wanted. The negotiation part of the process which was my least favorite part came out OK. We got a decent deal on the car given that it was a leftover from 2013. It was still a new car and there were some rebates on it which made it more affordable. I think in the end we could have gotten a little better price but it was still fair. I need to point out some other standout employees. We got to deal with both finance managers John Doucette and Bobby Haddad. Both of them went to bat for us and worked with several banks to ensure the deal happened. They put a lot of hard work into it and it paid off for everyone. I think in the car business, sometimes certain situations pop up and you get run through the ringer because no one wants to put the work in that's needed to sell the car! That is not the case with either of these two gentleman. Bobby, did all of the final paperwork with us and had us in and out in 15 minutes because we were both at work and had to fly! Bobby is a very professional guy who obviously knows what he is doing. Lastly, Clinton helped us go over the car once we took ownership of it. He was very thorough and explained how to work every feature of the car for about an hour. Can't ask for much more than that. This was my second purchase from this dealership and even though almost everyone is different from my Chevy Avalanche purchase from 5 years ago, both of my car buying experiences here have been excellent and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new Chevy and/or a new car of any kind to visit this dealership! They will work hard to earn your business and they appreciate your business once they earn it! I will be out of my Sonata lease in 2 years and will be back to look at the Chevy Volt! More
My car buying experienced started online. I knew specific cars to look for with the options I wanted and Herb Chambers' website was fantastic. I found the perfect car for me online - was able to look at the car inside and out via at least 20 pictures before I even saw it in person. The listing online was also very thorough and listed completely the options available on this particular vehicle. Next, my husband and I, along with one of our sons, headed to the dealer. We called ahead, told them the exact car we wanted to drive, and it was ready when we got there. Our salesperson - Lorne Keplar- was there to greet us - and provided us with courteous, friendly, attentive service for several hours that day. Lorne was extremely knowledgable about the car, the specific capabilities and showed us many of them. He also asked me what I was looking for, things I thought were important, and he was able the quickly identify those things in the Buick Enclave. Needless to say, it does take some time to purchase a car, but we never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Lorne went out of his way to even involve our son with the process. We also had interactions with other staff at the site, but Lorne definitely stood out. He continued to follow up after the purchase, which I also appreciated. Additional things we liked: Herb Chambers 5 day return policy, 30 day exchange policy, certified pre-owned, maintenance included, and the inspection/registration/changing plates (SO happy to avoid the DMV!). I am so pleased with my car and was extremely pleased with choosing Herb Chambers as my dealership. I would recommend them and Lorne to anyone. More
I have bought a car through Herb Chambers before and the salesman's name was Justin Arrigo. I called Justin and he highly recommended Kevin Fitzpatrick of the Chevy dealership. Kevin didn't fit the "car salesman" cliche and was absolutely fantastic to deal with. From the second I walked in until the second I left with my new car I felt no pressure to buy and never felt rushed into a situation that I didn't want to be in. I left feeling like I got a great deal and the best customer service I could've received. Other people I dealt with was Bobby Haddad in finance. He was great to deal with as well and went over the finances thoroughly and really broke down everything into layman's terms. I also had a brief conversation about my experience at Herb Chambers with Brian Dumont who was very pleasant to deal with. I would buy a car from Kevin again without hesitation and I even took a handful of his business cards to hand to coworkers, friends and family. I never met Kevin before entering the building but he made me feel comfortable upon entering. I am sure this wont be the last time I buy a car from him. More

By Far best experience in a car dealership I have ever had, Cory Stewart (sales) and Bobby( finanace) were a pleasure to deal with. Not only were these guys able to save me over a $160 a month on my car p had, Cory Stewart (sales) and Bobby( finanace) were a pleasure to deal with. Not only were these guys able to save me over a $160 a month on my car payment but also paid off my car note on my Mazda 6 that had a 101,000 miles on it. Beyond pleased with my overall shopping experience. 5 Stars More
We wanted to wait till the spring to purchase a vehicle - but ended up taking a 2013 limited jeep cherokee with just over 19000 miles for a test drive with Joseph Albert - I was amazed how it handled in traf but ended up taking a 2013 limited jeep cherokee with just over 19000 miles for a test drive with Joseph Albert - I was amazed how it handled in traffic and the highway! Joseph was very informative to all the vehicle had to offer - after realizing we had to have this car - Joseph Albert and bobby haddad went above and beyond - bringing the car to my home just before Xmas! And even going to the town hall with me before they closed to insure the vehicles where properly switched over! Any and all questions were answered - with the service I received - my husband is considering returning in the fall for a new Chevrolet truck - and we will request Joseph Albert and bobby haddad again! On Dec. 06,2013 I brought my 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 in for service. The rear vent system was blowing cold air with heat on, there was a thumping noise underneath vehicle while driving over bumps, noise fr for service. The rear vent system was blowing cold air with heat on, there was a thumping noise underneath vehicle while driving over bumps, noise from front end while taking corners and rear wiper malfunction. I spoke with Service Advisor Scott Lyon about the problems and he stated that he would have Kevin McCall ( the Mechanic) look into it. Kevin found the problems with the rear wiper and heating issue. I have been dealing with both Scott and Kevin for many years and could not believe they found the problem so quickly. The vehicle was repaired in a timely manner as usual. I will always put my trust in Scott and Kevin. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Scott and Kevin to anyone with a vehicle problem. Thanks Guys Great Job!!!lev More
The entire customer service experience was honestly very enjoyable (except for the holiday traffic on Rte 114). My original call was handled by Lindsay DelTorchio and I told her the reason for my call was to see if a vehicle they had listed for sale was indeed still for sale. She informed the vehicle I was interested in was still available and she immediately transferred me to sales manager Corey Upton. Corey invited me down and introduced me to my salesperson, Kevin Fitzpatrick. I have leased or purchased approximately 15 cars over the years and I can honestly say that Kevin was the most genuine auto dealer I have ever the pleasure of meeting. He took the time to answer all my questions, sat in traffic with me very patiently as we battled holiday traffic and never pressured me throughout the sales process. His professionalism, along with that of sales manager Corey Upton and business manager Bobby Haddad, made the entire process very rewarding. I left the dealership feeling very good about not only the deal I received, but just as importantly, the way I was treated. I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
