Buying a lease Three years ago I leased a 2011 Chevy Cruze for my daughter at Commonwealth Motors. Now that the lease is up, I wanted to pay it off and purchase it. Three years ago I leased a 2011 Chevy Cruze for my daughter at Commonwealth Motors. Now that the lease is up, I wanted to pay it off and purchase it. It only has 8,800 miles on it. Well. they refused to sell it to me and told me that I had to go to another dealership. I was not too happy and left there with some choice words. Their motto " Shop us Last " is now my motto "That's the Last Time I shop There" !!!! So I went up the highway to DeLuca Chevy. Their finance manager told me that he could help me but he was not enthusiastic about it. His exact words were "What's in it for me ? " After blowing me off for a couple of weeks and telling me that he had other things to do first, I told him where to put my paper work and it wasn't very nice. So I got in my car and drove to Herb Chambers. When I was met by John Doucette he had a huge smile on his face and he made me feel welcome. He listened to my story and told me that he would take my paperwork and see what he could do for me. He said to give him a couple of days. Well less than 2 hours later, he called me and said that I was all set!!! Do you believe it!! Two stupid xxx dealers could not help and John gets it down right away!!! I work on the Swampscott Fire Dept. and I have been telling the whole department about this experience and everyone that I know. Herb Chambers is the place to go and John Doucette deserves praise. My wife and I have Jeeps and when the time to get new ones comes, we will surely be going to Herb Chambers Jeep. More

Amazing buying experience Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share my absolutely incredible experience buying my beautiful certified pre-owned Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share my absolutely incredible experience buying my beautiful certified pre-owned Chevrolet Equinox, from Herb Chambers Chevrolet. My car guy Anthony Dalrymple was fantastic, we actually joke at home about him being part of the family. Every aspect of the Chevrolet dealership is great from my sales guy Anthony with his humble yet knowledgeable approach to the whole sales team asking me if I needed any water or ice cream, I mean who says no to ice cream. Right when I walked in I was greeted by Anthony with a huge smile and this cheerful excitement about him got me excited to buy a new vehicle that day. At first we were looking at a brand new Equinox but when we saw the certified pre owned it was a no brainer, better warranty than new and a ton of bells & whistles. The process went very smoothly and they actually sent over the pre-owned manager Edison Shurda who gave me more for my trade then I anticipated. I met many managers like Corey Upton who was the numbers guy, I was ready for a battle but not with Corey he spent more time talking about me and my family then we did numbers. The number came out exactly where we wanted to be since I just got engaged therefore we are saving for the wedding, they made it work for my situation and I couldn’t be happier. Last but not least my finance guy Bobby Haddad was awesome; he offered me products in a non-pressuring way that it showed he was trying to help us not sell us. This dealership as a whole is the only place to buy a vehicle from, and the only dealership I would recommend all of my friends and family. A big thanks to all the guys down at Herb Chambers Chevrolet especially our car guy Anthony Dalrymple, we will see you in a few years for our next vehicle. More

The service engine soon light came on in my 2005 Chevrolet Z71 Pickup on Wednesday night. Thursday morning I took my truck over to the dealership. I told Scott Lyon my service advisor what was goin Chevrolet Z71 Pickup on Wednesday night. Thursday morning I took my truck over to the dealership. I told Scott Lyon my service advisor what was going on with my vehicle. Once again Kevin McCaul worked on my vehicle. Kevin was able to find the problem. It was a faulty solenoid. My truck was repaired and I was on my way in a couple of hours. The experience with Scott and Kevin was exceptional as usual. Scott and Kevin are always smiling and professional every time I have been to this dealership. I would definitely recommend Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers. Awesome Service Dept. Jorge and Brian were fantastic to work with. My husband and I met with them on several occasions to determine what vehicle would be the best for us. When we got there, Mike was the first one to greet us on the lot. He had a big smile on his face and was very infomative.
