John was superb and managed to find the right car and price for us. John was attentive and responsive. John also managed thru an ugly situation with the sales manager of pre-owned BMW cars who was price for us. John was attentive and responsive. If it was not for John - we would have taken our business to another BMW dealer, if fact we did just buy another 525xi at another dealer b/c I didn't want to deal with the used car manager who acted - well -- like a used car dealer not a BMW dealer. Very efficient, straight forward, no silly games and no "sales cliche's". As part of my career I manage a significantly large global sales force and there is nothing that turns me off more than a fake (wh "sales cliche's". As part of my career I manage a significantly large global sales force and there is nothing that turns me off more than a fake (which by no accident we term as "used car salesman"). In the case of Jim Affannato (and Kosta Pappas on the Finance side) there was none of that; only no nonsense, substance, and "good guy" honesty. They did what they said they were going to, in the time frame promised, and did not run you around the block in slick sales tactics trying to gain a few incremental dollars. This is hugely important to me - it's called "integrity". I have to assume that Jim is a reflection of all sales professionals at this location because it has been my experience that in a small team you usually find consistency. If you are interested in a BMW then don't waste your time going anywhere else --- this is the place to go. More
The dealership was very friendly and very down to earth. They made my husband and I very comfortable and I feel like they would have treated a customer who was buying a new BMW, the same as we were treated. (Not always the case in other dealerships we visited for a CPO.) They did everything we asked for, including putting the car on the lift for my husband to see under the car, to taking out all the dings and even repainting the front bumper, which turned out looking just like a brand new BMW. We were from out of town, took the train up to Boston from New Jersey to pick the car up and they sent a driver to the train station to pick us up. From the beginning of the process to the very end, they took care of everything. It was a little tricky with the DMV plates having to be sent from NJ to Boston, but it all worked out very well. We drove the car home and enjoyed the ride in our "New BMW"! More
Jon is a very attentive sales person with a thorough knowledge of the X3. He took the time to explain all of its functionality and superior features.
