As a native New Englander I have always been reluctant to go to a Herb Chambers dealership because of the reputation of his other dealerships(this may be unfair but Im being honest). Because my wife and I have had our BMW's serviced at this dealership and were very impressed in every respect, I decided Id give the sales department a chance. Tomas Revetria was a great young guy, focused, attentive, and clearly committed to customer service. Because I had left my wallet in my Boston office with all of my credit cards and license, I was there over two days dealing with two business managers. On a Sunday, I ended up with David Rosendahl. He is a veteran (82nd Airborne), very competent, makes the extra effort, and ended up putting me into a purchase rather than a lease based on his knowledge, finding a great interest rate, and a making compelling argument as to the advantages of buying over leasing. He also seems like a good guy on a personal level. Tomas and David gave me a great buying experience. The dealership has given me great service for the last two year on my other BMW's. I would recommend Tomas, David and BMW of Sudbury without reservation. The entire staff have redeemed the name of Herb Chambers in my mind. I also had the opportunity to listen to and see the interactions between the very precious and self important Western suburbanites and the staff. They have remarkable patience and discipline. If you go in there, try not to be a pompous xxx and enjoy some really good people doing a good job for you in a very hospitable environment. More
My husband and I had been in search for a BMW X5 and finally decided to purchase one. We went to another dealership and were quickly turned off by all of the staff and decided to look elsewhere. We came across BMW of Sudbury online and my husband spoke with one of the salesmen over the phone and made an appointment to come in; from the moment we arrived we were treated completely different from the previous dealership, the staff was very friendly and we were so glad to speak with Charlie who made the car buying process so simple and painless- like it should be! We came to an agreement on a fair price and the next day Nick was nice enough to drive our new car to us since Sudbury was a bit of a hike. We also had to clear up some final details later on with Fahad who was extremely understanding and pleasant and we were overall very pleased with our experience and would recommend this dealership. Will Pauls is friendly, responsive and goes above an beyond to get the best outcome. My BMW X5 diesel is a great vehicle but had a serious emissions systems and electrical problem. My wife and I worked with Arash (Alex) Shirazi in our purchase of a new 2013 528xi. Alex did a fine job listening to what we wanted and understanding our expectations. The car we wanted was on display just outside the showroom. Alex didn't "pounce" like some sales persons tend to do - instead, he let us alone as we walked around the vehicle checking it out and then asked us if we needed assistance. We had done our homework on the car (pricing, etc) and we told Alex we were ready to buy and that we were keeping our trade-in (2009 BMW 328xi Coupe purchased from the same dealer) completely separate from the purchase. No problem. After just a bit of back and forth we reached a fair price and then negotiated the trade - also with a bit of back and forth. I've bought many new cars and this was, by far, the best experience with only a few minor exceptions regarding completing the paperwork. Although we understood that Alex is new to this store, he is professional and knowledgeable and, probably most important, knew the product well enought to let the car sell itself. Alex is a genuinely nice guy. There is a BMW dealer about 6 miles from our home but we bought and serviced our '09 328xi at BMW of Sudbury because of a bad experience at the much closer store. Sudbury is about 20 miles from where we live. Kudos also to Colleen Silver, our service advisor on the 328. She and the service we've gotten over the last 4 years is another reason we came back. Another note of appreciation to Eric Millar, who helped out when Alex had to spend some time with another customer. More
