Unclear Expectations My interaction started out on the wrong foot as I thought I had booked an annual tune up but wasn't yet eligible until mid-October due to my low milea My interaction started out on the wrong foot as I thought I had booked an annual tune up but wasn't yet eligible until mid-October due to my low mileage and timing from the last tune up. I took a day off from my busy work at Harvard University to get the car inspected. I could have done that across the street from my house at a gas station. It wasn't clear to me when I was alerted to make an appointment that it was for an inspection. Now I will have to come back next month again for the tune up. I know I was frustrated but didn't feel like it mattered that much when I expressed it. I know it wasn't James' fault that this happened either but my life is very scheduled and busy and I wasted a day off for an inspection. More
Disappointed with the service I came in for one reason, ie, to have my entertainment system looked at. What I left with was a $400.00 bill for fluid checks and an oil change and I came in for one reason, ie, to have my entertainment system looked at. What I left with was a $400.00 bill for fluid checks and an oil change and an inadequate and pathetic reason my entertainment system was not operating as expected. The technician wrote in his report that the problem I was having with the entertainment system had something to do with “MP3” files. Not only did he get it wrong, he got the problem seriously wrong. I got the impression that I was getting a diagnosis of the problem from someone totally unqualified to address the issue I was having. My expectations about service at HC BMW I guess was too high. My past experience has been very good. Stellar service provided by each person on the service Team. Again the conclusion that the service technician wrote in the service report had absolutely nothing to do with the problem I was having. If you check the report you will see his 3 word sentence. No one called me to get clarification about the problem with the entertainment system. . I’m still having the issue but I am hesitant to bring the car in again. It was a waste of time of my time. More

When I picked up my car after it was serviced the warning light was still on had to wait additional time to find out why the warning light was activated. In addition one of the issues I had with the car was never fixed. More
