I've bought three cars from this dealership and will continue to do so. Personal, efficient and friendly service and they are reasonable and fair negotiators. I have leased five BMW's from Kevin Bugbee at Herb Chambers BMW over the last 15 years or so. I have always found the process to be enjoyable and stress free. Kevin has made me feel as if my business Chambers BMW over the last 15 years or so. I have always found the process to be enjoyable and stress free. Kevin has made me feel as if my business is very important to him, and he has always given me the best deal around. Furthermore, because of the great treatment that I've had from Kevin and this dealership, I have also leased cars from two other Herb Chambers dealerships: Mercedes and Honda. I have recommended Kevin to many friends and family members who have all had similar experiences with him. He is the consumate salesmen as well as a man of integrity. I am looking forward to leasing my next 7 series from Kevin in September. The car is great, and so is the sales experience. More
I recently purchased my THIRD BMWer from Kevin Bugbee at Herb Chambers/Boston---a new 135i sports coupe. It was just being introduced in the US and BMW North America dealerships didn't know a lot about it. Herb Chambers/Boston---a new 135i sports coupe. It was just being introduced in the US and BMW North America dealerships didn't know a lot about it. Getting one was a little tricky but Kevin was on top of it all the way, I have known Kevin for several years. He is quite a character. He has become a good friend while remaining the consummate professional. Kevin's involvement doesn't end with handing over the car keys. He is always available to deal with any issues that might arise. He is very "approachable" and I would feel comfortable discussing with him all matters, however good or bad. Moreover, it has become clear to me over the years that Kevin knows how to leverage for my benefit the extensive Herb Chambers sales and service organization to meet all my needs. Finally, let me not forget the excellent service department--quality work, no problems. More

She actually lectured an employee in front of my wife and I! The poor kid only hesitated a moment to find a key. For someone to be so rude to an employee that was the the last straw. Everyone else was nice, my sales person, the valet, and even the other managers. If Herb cares about his image he would get someone that can manage people and is more polite! Not to mention someone that doesn't come to work in an evening gown! Put a suit on or something less provocative! I will never return More

Flat out lied to me and made me drive an hour in after a snow storm to tell me that the car was in their storage and they can't show it to me. It was an "executive car", X3 6k mi, they promised that the car was not a loaner and never been in an accident, but refused to put that in writing. The guy was rude and disrespectful and acted like he was doing the costumer a favor. BE CAREFUL and shop around before you get stuck with these guys. More
Awesome salesperson - Sheraz. Knowledgeable, friendly, hard-working. Service department sucks. Rude. Unreliable. The secretaries who answer the phone need some remedial customer service lessons. Leased an 08 328xi coupe from Herb Chambers BMW of Boston a few weeks ago. I was new to leasing but I taught myself the ropes. The person I worked with (Kevin Bugby) was extremely helpful when it came to some other things I didn't fully understand, helped me learn a lot about the pricing process and was very patient considering I made changes to my "final" decision three times. I changed my initial color choice a couple times, and each time he dutifully went and would check and get me back a list of potential cars that matched my criteria, and never seemed annoyed despite the fact that I changed my choice almost after the deal had been finalized. He is one of the main leasing guys so I would have expected someone like that to have little tolerance for someone like myself who knows little about the process but as I said he was very polite and accomodating. I also got a great deal on the lease, so I know he wasn't just being nice "for other reasons" (i.e. they are running you). I honestly felt in this situation as if he was on my side, of course you have to assume that the dealer wants to max their profit as well, but he was upfront about all the intial costs and answered all my questions straight up with no nonsense, and no "push back" when I inquired about incentives and cap cost reduction. Very easy to work with. I gave a 4 for quality of work due to the detailing job, granted the car had to be driven cross state about 80 miles, but they missed a couple minor scratches and maybe one or two level II water spots. Also there is rust behind one of the wheels (no not on the brake pad, that comes off with braking, this was on the piece between the pad and the rim, about the size of a quarter). They didnt seem like they did much to try and remove that. But don't get me wrong the car was brand new and indeed looks great. I would have given a 3 but I'm not sure if the scratches or rust appeared after I drove it or not. But it's only been a couple weeks and I haven't driven it that much. Overall the process was pretty smooth. Aside from being psyched with my new car, I'm very happy with what my final rates were. I feel as if I made a smart decision in which dealership to go to. Kevin even drove the car out to my workplace and picked me up (he offered, I didn't even have to ask!). I would recommend Herb Chambers to anyone looking at leasing a new BMW, make sure you ask for Kevin Bugby though, not sure about the other ppl who work there. Except the finance guy but I forgot his name (Azi I think it was). And make sure your car has been properly detailed. More
I walked around their showroom for about 15 mins(which was not that big). Someone finally asked if I needed any assistance. I already have a 335xi sedan that was purchased at Peabody, but I hate their ser was not that big). Someone finally asked if I needed any assistance. I already have a 335xi sedan that was purchased at Peabody, but I hate their service department and thought I would give Herb Chambers a try since I work in the Boston area. I wanted to see the 328 wagon, but I was told that they did not have one available, since no one really buys them. I was advised to look at a 328 sedan to get a feel for what the wagon would be like or possibly an X3(which I think is the worse bmw made today). The salesman did not seem to happy to be helping me. I wanted a wagon because I needed the cargo space and needed to physically "see" the cargo area. After this unfriendly experience, I went back to Peabody BMW. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing from them again. More
this guy was extremely rude to the man in front of me, waiting to get his car fixed. Quote, "I don't have a magic wand to just fix your car". At this point, I realized this was likely to be a difficult waiting to get his car fixed. Quote, "I don't have a magic wand to just fix your car". At this point, I realized this was likely to be a difficult experience. But I never imagined that it would get as bad as it did. Besides the fact that this guy called me an sshole, gave me the finger, and basically acted like a third grader, to make it worse, he stated they couldn't fix my car and I'd have to go somewhere else. I'm not sure what the standard is for a BMW dealership, but I can tell you, Jim Miscioscia and Herb Chambers BMW of Boston are pretty awful. More
