I had to go to the service manager to get issue resolved. The service specialists are very varied and don't necessarily do a good job keeping you abreast of what is happening. The person in service had to look for the needed papers on the trash as they were not in their files. I was told car was ready when I arrived to pick it up but had to wait about 1/2 hour as car was lost to the employees. Only when I walked out I saw it had been parked by the side all along (we ran into an employee who said it was ok to drive it away, and the reason no one knew where to find it was because someone had removed a tag). More

Not feeling great about how I was treated First we struggled to buy this used car. The sales people did not call when they said they would. They knew what price I wanted and when it finally First we struggled to buy this used car. The sales people did not call when they said they would. They knew what price I wanted and when it finally dropped to my price, I had to make the call even though I spoke with the salesperson the day before. Then there was a problem between the dealership and my insurance company that made us have to do this in 2 trips (which we didn't want to do since we have a long drive to get to this dealership). Then after realizing it was going to be 2 trips, we discovered the advertised wind deflector was missing. The salesperson said that the web page for the dealership has a section at the very bottom that says that they are not responsible for errors in their listing. Guess I should be happy it had 4 tires. I was disappointed (and almost walked away from deal) that the dealership did not take one from another vehicle and fix the listing on the website or offer me one at cost. Instead what I got was, nothing. I should have read the reviews of this dealership before spending $20,000 on a used car from them. I cannot recommend this dealership. More

Profoundly bad experience I’ve been a Herb Chambers customer for 20 years, having gone through several Hondas and two mini coopers; my experiences up til now have been good to I’ve been a Herb Chambers customer for 20 years, having gone through several Hondas and two mini coopers; my experiences up til now have been good to great. I now have a BMW i3 from Herb Chambers and have been caught in a loop of poor service and surly staff. It feels much worse than what I experienced with other Herb Chambers cars. The issue is complex but relates to problems not being dealt with in a clear and forthright manner, misinformation, and no sense of ownership when missteps by the staff forced me to return several times for a problem that could have been dealt with easily much earlier. No one has ever apologized or acknowledged the hassle and cost I’ve incurred. Overall I’ve been made to feel unimportant to the service staff and so, somewhat reluctantly, I have taken my service needs elsewhere. More
