William C. was thorough and the odd car behaviors/noises that I'd noticed but not told James Gibbons about were picked up on by William C. and dealt with. The car drives beautifully now. No shudder when I step on the brake hard, and even the tiny 'fan whine' has vanished. So, from major issues to minor ones, William C. ferreted them all out and fixed all of them. He knows BMWs. James Gibbons was pleasant and professional and kept me informed on the car's service requirements, progress, and quotes for the work. (Disappointed the loaner requested when I made the appt was not available when I brought the car in for service Monday morning. James Gibbons called Wed . and said a loaner had become available. However, by then I had made other arrangements and cancelled appts.) More

do not waste your time with this dealership I have bought and leased 9 cars over the years but I have never seen such an unprofessional, rude and poorly organized dealership in my life, ever. I have bought and leased 9 cars over the years but I have never seen such an unprofessional, rude and poorly organized dealership in my life, ever. I leased a 2017 BMW and after 3 years I was expected to drop it off today. They called me literally 10 times to make sure that I set an appoinment with them to check out what they have in their inventory. I stated I was not interested in buying or leasing anytime soon but I could test drive one if it is ok. They set up a date/time for me to both drop off the current car and test one. I go to the dealership today and to my surprise they were not expecting me? They made us wait standing a good 20 minutes and some other sales person shows up. It can happen, maybe there was a misunderstanding right? The sales person takes us to his desk and asks me if I am leasing a new car with them today? I told him I own another car and I am not in a rush but like I mentioned to the lady over the phone I would like to test drive one. He mumbles something in the lines of like “Why did they take you to my desk?” and immediately leaves his desk. Like 10 minutes later he tells us to go with him and invites the “star of them all” Mr. Mark Lande. Mr. Mark Lande was rude since second one. The guy just “orders” me to wait standing while inspecting the car. No smile, no welcome gesture, nothing. Then he just goes to his desk and we follow him and suddenly he remembers to offer his chairs that are sitting idle around his desk. He does not talk, he just grunts and asks a couple questions to me with a very “rude” tone. Then comes the best part. He asks me if I want him to cancel the plates on the car and I said “Yes, please”. He then says “I don’t have to do this for you, you know that right?” ??? Then I ask him a question about the second key to make sure that he took note of that since on the lease pre inspection it shows as missing. The guy just starts yelling at me and tells me to check my mail. My partner and I look at each other in shock and after a few seconds I asked him why he was raising his voice? He starts yelling more and asks me “What is wrong with me?” and stands up and tellms to have a nice day. I guess once your lease is up you are not a customer anymore? Still even then nothing can justify Mark Lande’s behavior. It is plain rude and unprofessional. It looks like he needs some kind of anger management or professional help. In the meantime, I will make sure everyone stays away from this dealership and this guy. I will also make sure to follow up with his manager, and BMW North America so other folks don’t get the same treatment that I got. More
Zero stars if I could I brought my car for routine service and to fix the navigation and SOS. They had the car for two days. No one followed up with me and I had to call I brought my car for routine service and to fix the navigation and SOS. They had the car for two days. No one followed up with me and I had to call for the status. Was told the car was ready. Get there and the car wasn’t washed so had to wait for it only to get into the car and the SOS was still broken. Go inside and I’m told a part is needed from Germany. Probably should have communicated that to me. Get back into the car and the navigation is still broken. Car also says service is overdue and is telling me I need an oil change even though they had the car for 2 days!! Called the service center and I am told they will make an appointment for me the next Wednesday and provide a loaner. Called to change the appointment and there wasn’t an appointment scheduled and was told the car had lots of recalls! Emailed Herb Chambers to tell them I’m disappointed in the service and want a call from the manager. Get an email asking for my best contact number but no one bothered to call me. Sent another email that no one reached out. Never contacted. Provided an opportunity to remediate the issue before submitting my survey and this review. Made an appointment at Norwood BMW to fix my issues. Will never buy or get my car serviced at Herb Chambers again. Update: went to Norwood BMW! The car had 5 recalls and my service manager knew exactly what was causing the issues because it was a known issue with the new X5. Perfect professional service, loaner provided, great amenities. More

I'm done ;-( I placed a bicycle hitch on the X5 that I leased and I can not get any assistance on transferring this hitch to the X6. After being told that the hitch can be transferred. I return the vehicle in good condition and then you send me a bill for $1,000 I 'm done with Herb Chambers. More

My husband suffered a stroke 1 year into a 3 year lease and we lost a great deal of money due packages we purchased at the outset and by holding onto a vehicle that he could not drive for 1 yr of the 3 year lease. We approached the end of the lease unhappily for these reasons. In addition, our current financial circumstance is not what it was 3 years ago. However, my husband's aspirations for another BMW haven't changed. Due to Abdou's responsive, humanistic approach to customer service, we purchased a vehicle that my husband is proud to drive and that we can afford. Abdou was extremely supportive to us from the beginning to the end of the process and patient with my husband's language difficulties. With Jasper Abreu's help, we achieved an affordable monthly payment that provides adequate protection from unanticipated financial costs, whether mechanical or accident related. He also waited for us at the end of his shift one evening! The team effort between these two gentleman during the course of one week, along the efforts of Mark Lande at the conclusion, made the dreaded car purchase process one that I was happy with! Our experience left us with a good feeling about these men and, therefore, about the dealership! More

I always had a wonderful experience with the service department and sales department. My only comment is that it is very sad that an organization who hires such a wonderful people in its sales and service departments, hires people in its finance department who are not professional and above all know nothing about the finance and treating the customers. My sophomore students know more about finance that they do. My experience in the past dozens of years dealing with Herb Chamber in Boston is that the quality of the people in the finance department has gone done exponentially. The reason might be the good economy that the high quality people all got better jobs. More
