I met Steve through a shared love of a different brand of cars. When it came time to buy my first Porsche he was coincidentally located in the same town as the car. (I live all the way across the country). I cars. When it came time to buy my first Porsche he was coincidentally located in the same town as the car. (I live all the way across the country). I explained I was purchasing a car out his way and that it was due for an oil change. Hennessy Porsche was scheduled out quite a while at the time but understanding my situation he told me to let him know when I was going to purchase the car and he would take care of me before the journey home. I ended up flying into town purchasing the car and after hours upon hours of delays I let Steve know I had the car and was on the way. It was nearing the end of the day and he still managed to squeeze me in. I arrived at the dealership and he had someone ready to take the car in for an immediate oil change so I could be on my way. While waiting for that work to be done he walked me through service intervals, answered any questions I had, and ended up walking me through all of the different aspects and features of my car as if I had purchased it new from the dealership. It was such a wonderful experience I wish I could have purchased the car from him directly. During the oil change the tech pointed out a small issue that was missed from an inspection that was performed elsewhere. As my very first experience with the Porsche brand Steve and Hennessy Porsche blew my expectations out of the water. Unfortunately for me the dealerships out my way are not nearly as impressive as Steve and Hennessy were. I only wish that I lived closer. More
The new service manager Steve Richardson is terrible. I brought my 2012 Porsche Cayenne in for service because of a check engine light and told them that another shop checked it and said it’s due to my cat brought my 2012 Porsche Cayenne in for service because of a check engine light and told them that another shop checked it and said it’s due to my catalyst converters. After service technician from Porsche did he’s evaluation Steve called me back and assured me it was not the catalyst converters and that it was something else which will cost around $3000 to repair. I asked Steve if he is absolutely sure it’s not due to the catalyst and he confirmed it was not. Them being a Porsche dealer I took he’s word for it and agreed to the repairs he recommended thinking they should have better technicians and testing equipment then the previous shop(I was very wrong). About 3 days after picking up my car from Porsche the check engine light was back and on top of that this time I started smelling a bad burning oil oder in the car too. Tried calling Steve right away but could never catch him(they would always have an excuse and transfer me to he’s voicemail which he never returned). Finally I called and asked for another service adviser (Charlie) who answered right away and tried to help. My wife dropped of the car for them to inspect it again and guess what they found the reason for the check engine light: “the catalyst converters” which I told them from the beginning caused the light..... By the way Charlie didn’t realize that the vehicle was worked on by them a few weeks earlier...and as soon as Steve found out that my car is back at the dealer and the diagnostic this time was what caused the problem in the first place, he immediately took over again (which I thought was very strange and suspicious). When I asked Steve what Porsche is going to do about miss diagnosing the problem the first time and charging me $3000 for something that did not fix the problem he said it’s a different problem and to fix it would cost me another $7700 🤯 and $1500 for the valve gasket to repair the oil smell that they caused. Long story short Steve Richardson along with Mark Ventei(general manager) did not even try to correct their mistake and left me with a broken car, check engine light, oil smell that I didn’t have before and a $3000 bill that was not necessary in the first place. The service department is awful and their technicians don’t know what they are doing if they couldn’t discover the correct problem the first time even after I told them the problem. After this incident I don’t think I would consider buying another Porsche for a long time and definitely not from this place because their service department is terrible!!! If you want peace of mind and a smooth service experience I would take my Porsche to a different dealer then Hennessy Porsche of North Atlanta👎🏼 More

Hennessey Porsche service department is deplorable. The transmission in my 2013 Porsche is shot. The car has 43,000 miles. My vehicle has been at Hennessey Porsche for over two months while they try to find a new transmission for my car. The cost when and if they find the transmission will be $14,000. The service department has little concerned for my situation. I have communicated with Porsche headquarters and they referred me back to the dealer. I understand that other customers have had similar problems. Over the years I have owned seven Porsches. The last two I bought new from Hennessey Porsche. The dealer has no respect for the Porsche brand and my loyalty to it. I just want to caution anyone who is considering buying a Porsche from Hennessey to be aware of issues I have had with their service department. More
When I bought my new car and had a wonderful sales experience, I remember another experienced customer had warned me that the service department at Hennessy is terrible and to meter my expectations. I experience, I remember another experienced customer had warned me that the service department at Hennessy is terrible and to meter my expectations. I didn’t think much of it but he turned out to be correct. If you come in for warranty work and do not have a history of having your scheduled maintenance service there, they will be minimally helpful to you. In other words, you will be discriminated against in the form of denial of warranty work claiming nothing is wrong, when indeed it is (and in other ways). The more experienced service advisors are some of the worst dead wood imaginable and just need to move on. I suggest dealing with the younger ones that are focused on making a good reputation for themselves and much more inclined to be helpful. Prices for service are ridiculous which is why I skip schedule maintenance there and only come for warranty items. The B.S. about calling the manager back so they can “right a wrong” is nonsense. Why don’t you fix your attitudes and treat customers well and there shall be no “righting a wrong”. In addition, don’t leave your real name and register a complaint as you will be further discriminated against. They know you are somewhat beholden to them and therefore unless you shell out tons of your own money (compared with Porsche warranty paying for repairs), you have no leverage. I just discouraged my brother in law and father from using the dealership in any capacity. i hate to write negative reviews but this is a pattern here and customers should be informed. Don’t waste your time. More

Had a difficult morning (garage versus side mirror) ... garage won. Hennessy got us in immediately, duct taped the ‘injury’ and ordered parts all in less than 30 minutes. The contact resulted in the fulfillment of a boys dream. Ever since, Scott and the whole service team is looking after me and I am sure it applies to all customers. Still makes me feel special. Now, me being back in Europe, Scott is still keeping me posted and helping to support me. When ever I am coming back for a visit, all is perfectly handled and organized, even from abroad. I wouldn’t trust no other place to represent my interests and looking after my “girl”. Thanks to Hennessy Porsche and the great people behind it! More
