Typical big car dealer with typical big dealer antics … their goal is to get you in the their door … they will not bother to tell you details until they get you there just like a typical car salesman ….in their goal is to get you in the their door … they will not bother to tell you details until they get you there just like a typical car salesman ….in order to sell you a vehicle …. I made a $1000 deposit on a $75,000 vehicle …I then drove 400 miles in a one way car rental.. I showed up at the dealership only to find out the vehicle had not arrived yet ,no problem, I can understand …but then immediately I had to get insurance on the vehicle that wasn’t even there …after me and my insurance company jumped through the hoops to make that happen, I sit down at a desk and was told to start signing papers …one was the vehicle was cleaned and prepped full of fuel and ready to go... one was for an appointment to get the vehicle serviced in six months and one was the agreement to purchase a vehicle for them for $75,000. I don’t even remember what other ridiculous things they wanted me to sign. When I question this method for their madness. ,for me to sigh papers on a vehicle that I had not even seen yet ..I was looked at as though I was doing something wrong.. I had had enough …as a matter of fact, I must have been completely wrong to make the drive to this dealership. The only reason I did this was because they had a vehicle that had a package on it that I wanted that was not available in my area ….by the time I drove the 400 mile trip home in my one-way rental car which I had spent about 300 on the rental and fuel … I was unconcerned about the extra package and questioned whether I would ever buy another Lexus . ..Then I inquired about the return of my deposit. I was initially told it would be 10 to 15 business days to return the thousand dollar deposit … then I was told it would be 7 to 10 business days actually a little bit of irony for them to want me to sign papers on a vehicle that hasn't even arrived yet and they’re telling me they can’t return my deposit for possibly three weeks ..we shall see… this just screams big dealer nonsense nobody should have to deal with these people..I hope that somebody reading this does not experience the same thing I would avoid this very typical car dealer at all cost .. a Lexus dealership should be better than that ..Typical big car dealer with typical big dealer antics More

We have purchased just 2 new cars from dealerships over 30+ years and none at used car dealerships except one recently at Carmax. Most of our car purchases over time have been private party cash purchases. This is the first time we've attempted to purchase from a luxury franchise store. I'd heard that luxury brand dealers tend to treat their customers better than typical run of the mill dealers, and was interested in finding out the truth of that claim. Don't believe it. The young salesman we worked with was pleasant and professional. The car prep and detail was terrible. One of the 2020 GX 460s we looked at had a dead battery and they had to keep jump starting it for the test drive. The 2021 GX 460 was dirty and half way detailed inside. There was dirt and grass on the floor in the cargo area, dirt and odd scrape marks on the ceiling fabric, and what looked like dried milk in the drivers side second row speaker (exactly what it would look like if a toddler were spraying milk from their bottle while sitting in a car seat). When we sat down to discuss numbers this Lexus dealership attempted to pull the usual BS games with fake protection packages and tracking services that are "already installed" and added thousands to the listed car price. So after looking at and test driving several cars we walked out after 15 minutes at the deal desk when our very fair counter offer (asking price plus state taxes) was rejected with more attempted negotiation. The sales manager chased after us shrilly exclaiming "I was gonna do your deal, why the hostility?!!". We ignored him and will return to Carmax for our next purchase, where you will almost always get a good car at a fair price, even if you will never get a "steal". But the odds are you won't get a "steal" at this dealership either; instead you'll get robbed. And considering where this dealer is located you may get robbed outside the store too! More
