My truck was broken into over two weeks ago. I dropped it off here because it also had a recall on it and had some kind of rattling noise coming from the engine. This is the dealership I have been coming to for years and to which I have also referred friends and family to buy cars and to have their cars serviced. Unfortunately this time I got Tim Bennewitz as an adviser. Since work was needed on the truck I figured I would let Glass America replace the broken windows while the truck was being serviced. They showed up on Wednesday and Tim told them he had replaced the front window and ordered glass for the side window. Glass America then called me and I clarified that I hadn't requested Ford to do anything but the recall and to check the engine. After many calls and lies Tim told the Glass America guy that he was able to put the side window in. I’ve also spoken with another individual and mentioned that since they did replace the front windshield (which they were not told to do because I had requested Glass America do it) that I would pay what I was due to pay Glass America. On Thursday I went to the dealership to ask for Tim and the first thing he said to me was, "This is insurance fraud!". He was yelling and being totally disrespectful to me in front of other employees and customers. Not once did he try to explain what happened or what went wrong. In my seven-plus years of going there and buying/servicing vehicles I’ve never witnessed so much disrespect. The total disregard blew me away. After being so blown away by his appalling behavior, I finally asked to speak with a service manager, because Tim's tone and body language were completely out of line. Things got worse from there. Tom Denman the service manager mentioned that he had heard the commotion and loud talking, and I was quick to mention it was all Tim. Not once did he address the issue. I explained the situation to him and he went along with Tim, accusing me of insurance fraud. They both claimed that they had talked to my insurance company and that the insurance company representatives said they thought Ford was doing the work. Not once has the Ford dealership called me with the insurance company on the phone. When I called the insurance company the advisor said, "We can’t tell you where to go." Hennessy Ford doesn’t even do body work or replace windows, so why would I pay them to hire an external contractor to do it when I can just hire that company directly myself? Tim Bennewitz and Tom Denman are a disgrace to Hennessy Ford services department. Nothing about these two individuals embodies an ethos of service. It’s such a shame to be in 2020 and to experience an advisor and his manager being biased, disrespectful, patronizing, extremely aggressive, and expressing no regard for anyone. I’m taking my business elsewhere and hopefully everyone that reads this will follow suit. More

I purchased a 2018 Ford F-150 in late 2018 ; my transmission completely went out while I was traveling to TN on winter break with my girls . I had 61,000 miles on the truck so the Ford Powertrain w transmission completely went out while I was traveling to TN on winter break with my girls . I had 61,000 miles on the truck so the Ford Powertrain warranty was over by 1,000 miles. I had purchased a premium extended warranty from Ford but they denied my claim stating the truck was altered - Hennessy had a lift put on it before I purchased it from them . Long story short my truck sat in TN for 3 weeks while the warranty company , lift company and Ford tried to work it out . Mr. Hennessy got personally involved got me taken care of within 3 days of ordering a new transmission , took care of my 21 days of rental and then detailed my truck when I got it back from TN. I would highly recommend purchasing a new or used vehicle from any of the Hennessy companies. They are a class act lead my great people . I live on the other side of Atlanta with a Ford dealer 2 miles from my house but I will only be going to Hennessy Ford for the all service needs and will definitely purchase another vehicle from them . Corry was really great to work with. My only issue was the amount of time my car was at Ford which is why I didn't give 5 stars. It was there from December to February. Overpriced and issues dismissed I brought my car in for service at Hennessey three different times. While the service was prompt, I was not pleased to find a set of keys in my car th I brought my car in for service at Hennessey three different times. While the service was prompt, I was not pleased to find a set of keys in my car that were not mine, and had I not realized it, I would have driven away and someone else would have lost their keys. Additionally, during an airbag recall replacement in July, I noticed my dashboard was scuffed when my car was returned, so I immediately notified the manager and he took a picture and told me he would be in touch soon about getting it fixed. This manager did not follow up with me. I then took my car in for oil change and tire rotation a few months later, and also followed up on the dashboard. The manager told me "it's just normal wear and tear," and completely dismissed me, despite the photographs I had along with a different manager who wasn't there. The last straw was an evap control valve I needed replaced. I got a price quote and it was 3x more expensive than other places if I brought them the Ford part. The quicklane representatives mentioned it was because it was the Ford part itself and they had to charge a minimum service fee of an hour ($150) for something that took 5 minutes. The total price for this would have been $170. So, I bought the Ford part, had it taken care of at a different, more trusted automotive place, and the total cost to me was $44, the cost of the part alone. It only took 5 minutes. Beware of unnecessary mark-ups and ways to be taken advantage of due to poor customer service here. I took my car back to a different Ford dealership to fix the problems this one caused with the interior of my car. More

I left feeling like a friend had walked me through what can be a stressful experience, especially if you've not done it in 15 years. My only complaint was the amount of time I spent at the dealership -- close to four hours -- by the time I went through sales, financing, service etc. What was particularly frustrating was that after spending much time trying to get my monthly payment down to a comfortable rate, I then had to listen to the "up-sell" in maintenance packages for one hour that would have nearly doubled the payment. All in all, though, it was a good experience, and I would highly recommend Hennessy to others. Ask for Earston! More
