I was looking for a Mazda 3 for my son and spotted two cars that looked potential -- one at Hennessy and another at a different dealership, so my son and I went to both on the same day. We arrived at Hennessy first. It has been years since I've shopped at a used car dealership, so I came here expecting the typical "used car salesman" experience. However, we met with Lamont Rhodes, and I was blown away. He was totally professional, did not pressure us in the slightest to make a purchase, and was very patient while my 16-year-old test drove a manual car (and probably scared Lamont half to death!). I kept thinking to myself "this is too good to be true". Then we went to the next car dealership, in Jonesboro, and it was everything I had dreaded. The car wasn't as nice as the one at Hennessy, the salesman pushed us super hard to make a purchase that day, and he left us for 15 minutes while he went to "discuss the price with his manager" (I am confident that they played a computer game or something along those lines). We couldn't get out of there fast enough, and I started feeling all the better about Hennessy now that I had a point of comparison. We had already purchased one Mazda 3 through a car buyer, only to discover that it had substantial rust on the undercarriage and to end up returning it. To that end, I called Lamont the next day and asked if he could please take the car over to the shop, have them jack up the car, and then take photos of the undercarriage. Lamont kindly obliged and texted me photos. which I forwarded to the car inspector and got the "all clear". The day after that, we went back to test drive the car and to purchase it. This time, Lamont was with another customer, so we met with Lamont Snead, who was also fantastic. Lamont Snead went with us on another test drive and we decided to purchase. He then walked us through the paperwork, and I am sure I drove him crazy asking for repeated assurances that we had 3 days to return the car if we didn't like it. I kept expecting a gimmick or a hitch, but Lamont was totally straight with us and was just as nice as he could be. Then we met with Todd in the finance department, who was wonderful. Years ago, I paid cash for a car and was blown away when the finance guy very aggressively tried to convince me that I would save money by financing through them rather than paying cash. Unbelievable! So, I expected a similar run-around from Todd, and was very pleasantly surprised to get no run-around at all. Todd was very straightforward, did not pressure me to finance or do anything, and was a total pleasure to work with. We ended up taking the Mazda straight to an inspection place, where it got a clean bill of health, and my son absolutely loves the car. I was extremely pleased with the price, and I was extremely pleased with everyone at Hennessy. I've already recommended this dealership to a number of folks, and we will absolutely check back here when we go to purchase a car for my husband next year. Thank you to Lamont R, Lamont S, and Todd. You guys rock!!! Hennessy provided us with a fantastic car shopping and car buying experience. Wish all used car dealers were this honest and professional! More

Never again..Bait and Switch...then Switch and Bait My wife and I went to dealership New Years weekend 2016...we had Chris Brown filling in for Ron Geraci. Ok here we go Stage 1: Excited Found our truck My wife and I went to dealership New Years weekend 2016...we had Chris Brown filling in for Ron Geraci. Ok here we go Stage 1: Excited Found our truck...2016 Gmc Seirra 1500 Crew Cab...SLE...great truck...great salesperson Chris...the truck is here for you this is what paperwork I need dear customer for you to get the truck. Stage 2: Stole excitement dear customer I did know that the truck dealer traded this truck out to another dealership. Stage 3: Hope given back.. ok I'm sending you all something similar your email...Remind you Ron Geraci went on Christmas vacation...so he already said Chris would help us..ok cool. Stage 4: Reinstall Hope..I got your truck..I did it customer..it did not go out to dealer trade. Stage 5: Do Our Part: We have our own funding...no Hennessy we got financing already...we got all our ducks in a row...Leave excited to get new truck on Jan 4. Stage 6:Here We Go With The xx..We cannot sale or give you the truck at that price...incentives went off Jan 3 you are one day late...my manager said he will not do it for one day late..remind you this manager always in a meeting ever day. Stage 7: Me Thinking Out Loud..Ok my car check was late due to UPS holiday delivery..My bank auto loan department called you to make sure the truck was still able to be purchased..you said yes same price...but now it's 9000 to 10000 higher...if you do not care about a Disabled Veteran in need of a car.. you do not care about anyone...huh. Stage 8:Take Your Thank You For Service And Put It Where The Sun Don't Shine..I am not an irate customer..we played by your rules..came over everyday...sending emails for information you needed...we rented a car for almost a week now. We thinking we would be riding by now even our bank helping us out because of their late delivery of the check by paying for the rental now..Stage 9: SO WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM...WHY YOU CANNOT GO ON AND ABOVE TO HELP...Oh we don't count..We cannot help dear customer..we have to charge you more money now. Stage 10: This Was A Wake Up Call..My wife cried so hard on the way home...She said I thought Hennessey Gmc was top of the line...I told her they are on top of lying to you... He listened to what we were looking for. His communication through email and phone calls was top notch. He helped us find the right car before we even stepped foot in the dealership. Once we did, his top notch service continued. He answered all of our questions and offered his honest opinions when needed. We had 3 children with us, ages 4, 7, and 10, and the entire dealership made them feel welcome.
