Lots of promises, nothing behind it.. I recently purchased a new car from Hennessy GMC. The transaction was smooth and very pleasant. My salesperson, Chris Brown, worked with me to make I recently purchased a new car from Hennessy GMC. The transaction was smooth and very pleasant. My salesperson, Chris Brown, worked with me to make my deal and wrote all that was included in the deal very clearly and signed it. When these items were not followed thru I called several times to inquire. The manager, Chris Chandler, was initially very poor to respond. When I called again, he was extremely rude and condescending repeating that "We owe you nothing". I spoke with Paul Favorite, the manager, who told me that salespeople are not authorized to add anything to a deal without a managers approval. Despite the fact that I was given a form with the items listed with his signature and date on it. He told me that it was on the wrong form and I should have known that it was on the wrong form when I was given this by my salesperson. Again, he repeated "We owe you nothing" several more times. I have never put a review online before. This "bait and switch" or "promise and not deliver" is just wrong. I sent the manager a copy of the document which clearly states what is included and again, I was told that salespeople are not authorized to make such promises and it was on the wrong form anyway. When I questioned how, as a customer, I am expected to know which is the correct form to have used, his response was "you should be intelligent enough to have seen that it was the wrong form". I have bought many cars in my life and have never actually seen a car dealership live up to the classic poor reputation car dealers are known for until this time. There are many reputable car dealerships out there. My advice to readers of these reviews is to find another dealership to buy your car from as this one is not ethical or competent and their customer service is lacking. More

Quick and painless I had a great experience buying a new Mazda 3 (utilizing TrueCar.com) and dealing with Mark, who was excellent throughout the entire process. Not onl I had a great experience buying a new Mazda 3 (utilizing TrueCar.com) and dealing with Mark, who was excellent throughout the entire process. Not only did I get the exact vehicle I wanted which was the only one within 200 miles, but the price was very good and negotiation wasn't necessary. Mark was very courteous and upfront from the start and I was honestly surprised by how smooth everything went. The whole process couldn't have taken more than two hours (cash sale). Mark did the little things that make for great service. For example, he had the car parked outside the entrance front and center for when I arrived. He let me take my time inspecting the car and removed the dealer sticker when I asked. Later, when there was a problem (the vehicle's navigation card was missing), he express mailed me a new one and it arrived the next morning. It really has been a painless experience and although there were several dealerships closer to home, I'm glad I made the trip. Highly recommended. More

I enjoyed purchasing my Mazda 3 at Hennessy of Southlake! I found a car I was interested in on the Hennessy of Southlake website. I was contacted by Ron Geraci and I set up a time to come down to check out the car. My wife Helene and I met Ron on a Saturday morning, and he had the car I was interested in ready for a test drive. Ron was great, he took the time to explain the features of the car, driving, safety and infotainment system. Ron was friendly and informative and very laid back. No pressure at all. It turned out that I wanted a car with a moonroof, and Ron found us two to check out. We found the car we wanted, a Mazda 3I Touring. Ron walked us through the purchasing process and introduced us to the financing department. The process went smoothly and we drove our new car home. I highly recommend working with Ron Geraci at Hennessy of Southlake. It was worth our drive from north of Atlanta. More

This is the first time either my wife or I have bought a new vehicle; thou All the questions you asked about our experience with Mark rate excellent. This is the first time either my wife or I have bought a new vehicle; though I have started the process a couple of times it ended up being an unpleasant experience. Mark was never pushy and even let us call another dealer for a price quote. Not pressuring us was most important. He didn't play any of the games I dreaded from past experience, and I think dealerships would do well to encourage salespeople to act like he did. He was always patient, genuinely nice, and polite. He knew our car's functions and explained them well. He stayed past closing time to close the deal (Thanks to Mr. JB in finance for staying late and doing his job efficiently, as well). Also, Mark had given us the best price on our initial contact with him back in March. Mark even cleaned the car himself while the paperwork was being done, as the service department was closed, even though he knew we had already bought the car. More
