Truck Fail I recently reached out to Hennessy, inquiring about a truck that I was interested in for my business. I am now compelled to share my experience for an I recently reached out to Hennessy, inquiring about a truck that I was interested in for my business. I am now compelled to share my experience for any potential customers. First, I spoke with the dealership's financial director, Scott, and discussed my credit application. Scott assured me that my credit would be pulled from one specific financial institution. I later learned that there were four inquiries on my credit report, rather than the one single institution we agreed upon. In addition, the dealership and I reached agreement for the truck. After agreeing to specific numbers, the dealership contacted me regarding additional registration costs. From the moment I expressed interest in the truck, I made clear that I would be registering the vehicle out of state and for commercial purposes, which requires that I personally register the truck (i.e., there should be no registration fee charged by the dealership). Nonetheless, the dealership insisted that these additional costs be paid. Lastly, during the process of attempting to purchase the truck, I continuously had to reach out and request that someone contact me in order to discuss the sale. I felt that the dealership failed to make me a priority or provide me with sufficient service to solidify the deal. Even after reaching out to the manager and requesting that someone call me again, I never heard back. Ultimately, I requested that my deposit be refunded and that the dealership contact the credit bureaus to correct the impact that the unautohrized credit pulls had on my score. While I was refunded my deposit, the dealership has yet to acknowledge my request concerning my credit. More

Quality service and comfortable wait areas. Hennessy Mazda does very nice service and do not leave oil/grease stains in your interior. The friendly staff provides good customer service. Will not accept credit / charge cards for down payment I've bought many cars, new and used, and this is the first time I've ever been told I cant use my AmEx for a down payment. This put us in a difficult I've bought many cars, new and used, and this is the first time I've ever been told I cant use my AmEx for a down payment. This put us in a difficult situation as we don't carry checks, and the banks have a per day debit limit to prevent fraud. This limit became an issue due to holiday banking hours. This should have been communicated much earlier in our conversations so we could have prepared an alternate method for our down payment. I was told this is a 'Hennessy' policy due to previous fraud issues, but I bet I'd be able to use my AmEx at Hennessy Lexus or Porsche dealership. Other than that, the process was typical of car buying, but our salesman was very low pressure which we appreciated. The finance manager we worked with was helpful and friendly. More
