Great Customer Experience I took my Toyota in for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. My service advisor George Sando, at Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston, let me know the ba I took my Toyota in for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. My service advisor George Sando, at Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston, let me know the battery of my car needed attention. I let him know I had just replaced the battery a little over two years ago and asked if he could check with another Toyota dealer in another state where I had the battery replaced. "There may be a warranty left on the existing battery" I remarked. George assured me he would and asked, " Either way do you want the work done?" I said yes. Some time passed and George came back and let me know the records showed some battery work was done but no payment was exchanged for service. I knew I had paid for the battery and asked if he could call the service department at Ira Toyota of Manchester, NH. He again, without hesitation, said he would. At the time of delivery, of the completion of the service work, a faxed receipt for the payment of the first battery from NH had not come through yet. I paid the bill in full with George letting me know he would follow through and any refunds due he would make sure they were applied correctly. I asked for one more thing. " Could you text or call when this was resolved?" What do you think George said? George called me the following day and said we are "all set". Sure enough a refund was deposited into my checking account. This is why I continue to bring my car to a Toyota dealership. Thank you George and the Toyota team for excellence. More
Deceitful to get a new car, to make a long story short they throw in 4K of “warranty and oil changes” they knew I didn’t need this yet tricked me. I am in the Air Force and this was my first car buying experience. Everything was fine initially, and then the sales representative started pressuring me on the sale of the truck. I told him that I was the co-owner of the truck I was driving. He replied with “You don’t need him.” referring to my dad who owned it too. I walked out of the dealership and one of the managers came out to the parking lot and brought me back in. They continued pressuring me and eventually I bought the truck. After the fact I found out they gave me a below rough condition trade in on my truck, which was in excellent shape. When my dad delayed in signing his part of the title to try negotiating a fair trade in value. The finance manager, through an email to my dad effectively threatened to come after me for fraud because of the title issue, even though I had told them he owned it too and all the paperwork I signed, they had filled out. It was the end of the day so everything was very rushed with a sign this and initial that. A disappointing first experience. More

Quick Service I had noticed something hanging under my Toyota Corolla when driving at highway speeds and while on vacation in Charleston I stopped at Hendrick Toyot I had noticed something hanging under my Toyota Corolla when driving at highway speeds and while on vacation in Charleston I stopped at Hendrick Toyota in North Charleston to have it checked. Mr. Matt Minetti looked under my car and noticed a broken part, a front splash guard. He said if the Parts Department had the correct clips needed he could quickly repair the broken splash guard. The parts were found and Mr. Minetti very quickly made the necessary repair. He did the job quickly and allowed me and my wife to continue our vacation. He also said if I had waited and the splash guard had completely broken I would have had a much more expensive repair job. Many thanks to Mr. Minetti for his personal and excellent service! Oil Service and Brake Pad Check Serviceman did a brake pad check at my request as previous checks by dealer indicated they would need monitoring as they were getting to the point whe Serviceman did a brake pad check at my request as previous checks by dealer indicated they would need monitoring as they were getting to the point where monitoring at each service should be performed. I had scheduled the appointment for oil change and brake job but tech said pads are still within safe range. So my appointment was short. Always good service, clean facility, and great staff. RATING...SALES WAS GREAT. BUSINESS OFFICE WAS POOR. DANNY MARFLAKE WAS VERY GOOD TAKING CARE OF THE SALES PORTION. HE ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS, RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY AND WAS VERY HELPFUL I WOULD RECO DANNY MARFLAKE WAS VERY GOOD TAKING CARE OF THE SALES PORTION. HE ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS, RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY AND WAS VERY HELPFUL I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM AS A SALESMAN.. HOWEVER, JORDAN (DONT KNOW LAST NAME) IN THE BUSINESS OFFICE TURNED A SIMPLE CASH TRANSACTION (NO LOAN) INTO A COMPLICATED ORDEAL. HE WAS MORE INTERESTED IN SELLING EXTENDED WARRANY, ETC. HE ASKED MORE THAN ONCE FOR US TO FINANCE (WE WERE PAYING CASH). ALSO, HE HAS US SIGN DOCUMENTS THAT WERE RELATED TO A BANK LOAN WITH A LIEN ATTACHED. HE TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GO THRU THE PAPERWORK. IT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN APPROX. 30 MINUTES (AT THE MOST). JORDAN ALSO SPOKE IN A NEGATIVE WAY ABOUT OUR CHOICE OF A CAR WHICH WAS A 2018 KIA OPTIMA SXL. HE STATED THAT THE ENGINE/TRANSMISSION WAS GOOD AND THAT THE OTHER AREAS OF THE CAR WERE NOT GOOD. More
