Two weeks ago I bought a car from Gene Reed Toyota. Since then I have had nothing but problems in trying to get this dealership to keep to the promises they made me. I had a few minor scratches to be repaire then I have had nothing but problems in trying to get this dealership to keep to the promises they made me. I had a few minor scratches to be repaired and I was also promised a full detail of the interior. Today was my 6th visit to the dealership and the car doesn't even look like it's been touched. And to top it all off the dealership cashed my down payment check a month ahead of time! When I asked them to pay for the damages I incurred they reluctently agreed to pay only for the overdraft charges and nothing for the time,trouble and embarrasment it caused me. This dealership has horrible customer service. The service department is unbelievably rude. I would not go back to this dealership if you paid me to. More

We were immediately greeted by David. He asked what car we were looking for and took us right to the Scion TC we asked about. He knew all the features and how good of a car it was. My experience at Gene Reed Toyota was much better I have found at any other new car dealership. During my 63 years, I have bought many new cars and this experience was among the best. Todd Salzer in particu found at any other new car dealership. During my 63 years, I have bought many new cars and this experience was among the best. Todd Salzer in particular was extremely meticulous and thorough in his work. He is one of the most customer oriented and accommodating person I have ever worked with at a new car dealership, which is refreshing. I live in Upstate South Carolina and also spend a great deal of time on the coast, so I have access to numerous dealers from which I can choose to deal. I will definately revisit Gene Reed Toyota and specifically Todd Salzer, David Reed and Richard Sommer when I am ready to consider another vehicle and I recommend this dealership to anyone else. The reason why i gave them all five because i bought a 05 Jeep Grand Ckerokee from them and soon as i bought it i had a tire pressure sensor go bad and they fix it.And also when i bought it i notice there wa Jeep Grand Ckerokee from them and soon as i bought it i had a tire pressure sensor go bad and they fix it.And also when i bought it i notice there was a big hold in the passengaed door handle and they had to replace the whole door panel for me. Wow! We got a Toyota Camry from Gene Reed and were very impressed. Our sales person/sales God, Joe Keil, handled our trade and answered all of our questions without pressuring us. He introduced us to the sales manager, who made sure we were treated well and would enjoy the process. We also met with Bill at Finance Department was also very helpful. Joe took his time and showed us several vehicles, and weathered the storm of ridiculous questions, baby seat changes, and screaming kids where most car dealers would have had to call for backup. While helping us pick out the car of our dreams, he even performed the Heimlich maneuver on my husband, who was still choking a little bit from our experience with another dealer who will remain nameless. The only point of contention I could think of was that he showed us a car with a rear DVD player we didn’t ask for, and probably couldn’t afford. We forgave him because we figured we could save so much money on attorney fees, since strangling our kids on long rides would no longer be necessary. All in all, we did not want our car experience to be tainted with a bad experience at the dealership. Gene Reed made sure that was not going to be a problem. I recommend them to everyone I know. More

I had previously leased a 2006 Prius. I recently decided to buy out my lease and purchase the car outright. Mr. Hannon and Salzer assisted me with the information needed to do this transaction. I recently purchased a new Prius from Gene Reed. I had been shopping around online and found many that were simply too expensive.
