Over tightening of everything! From the lug nuts to the oi After 6 years of letting Hendricks Toyota service my 2 Toyota’s, and watching them over torque oil filters to lug nuts( stripping lug nuts and studs After 6 years of letting Hendricks Toyota service my 2 Toyota’s, and watching them over torque oil filters to lug nuts( stripping lug nuts and studs and wanting me to pay $100 per lug/stud.$500 a wheel) I will no longer be using them. And after having a “real” mechanic go over my vehicle and change oil, it appears my oil filter hasn’t been changed in at least 20,000 miles! Have they/Toyota even been Changing my oil!? Upset in South Carolina!!! More

Bad Initial Experience Called ahead to set up an appointment for a test of a new Land Cruiser listed on their website. Appointment was confirmed over the phone for later that same day. Drove 45 minutes to the dealership, showed up on time, then I was asked by the salesperson to wait in the lobby. About 15 minutes later the salesperson returned to inform me that they had no Land Cruisers to test drive...oops. Bare minimum apology offered, and they never followed up with me (few weeks out now). I'm a 38yo local professional, it was a legitimate interest in the vehicle, and I wasn't throwing up any red flags that I can think of. I think they just goofed, then didn't recover or follow up well. Small issue for me, but makes me wonder how they would handle bigger issues for folks considering buying a vehicle from them. This was a very limited interaction, so take it for what it is worth. Maybe just a bad day. Systems/Communications issue probably more than any individual, but frustrating nevertheless. More
