Typical "Used Car Sales", Poor Experience I went to drive a used vehicle. Had been emailing with staff during the week, to come test drive later in the week after work. I call that afternoon, I went to drive a used vehicle. Had been emailing with staff during the week, to come test drive later in the week after work. I call that afternoon, tell them exactly which car I want to see and I would be there at 7pm. They said they would have it ready to go. I arrive at 715p. Took them 20 minutes to "find the car" out back. Then they tell me I cannot drive it because it has not passed their internal inspection and release yet! They make bunch of excuses why, never acknowledging that it was their mistake. Poor quality. And sales person know nothing and would just stand there. Very junior, no knowledge. I left. On top of that, next morning at 10a I get a call form a customer service agent asking "that since I could not come in previous day, would I like to come in today?". They were completely disorganized inside without left arm knowing what the right arm was doing. Pathetic experience at their dealer. I bought a vehicle from another dealer the next day. More
Frustration I went there today for my appointment to have the rear suspension safety recall done (for the second time). When I arrived I was told that there were no kits available to perform the recall, that they ran out yesterday. Naturally I was disappointed that I made the drive and took time out of my day, all for nothing. Furthermore, I was told that they had no idea when parts would be available, but that they would call me and save me a kit when they did come in. I have a couple of questions: How do you not communicate the lack of parts for the safety recall, especially when they send me emails reminding me to show up for my appointment? How do you not have any visibility on availability? I was told they could show up in the next 10 minutes or that it could be weeks. They tried to blame that on Toyota. They have apologized, for whatever that's worth. I am still not happy that things did not work as scheduled. What is the point of making an appointment? And what about that safety of my vehicle while we wait for the recall to be performed? I was told the odds were in my favor since no incidents have occurred as yet. That's a really dumb answer. They also tried to blame the "girls" who make the appointments. Really? Look in the mirror. You are responsible for running the business and you don't have anything in place to avoid these type of situations. My opinion of this dealership has fallen a lot. More
Great experience but time consuming We arrived at the lot and were allowed to look at vehicles without being swamped by sales persons. We saw some SUVs we were interested in and I approached a few sales associates who were available for help. Tyrone stood out with a great personality and grabbed a haldful of keys to the trucks we were interested in. We drove two and Tyrone was very low pressure and genuinely wanted us to be pleased with our choice. The transition to sale was effortless. The time consuming part came with the financing. The process to the end took well over 6 hours. The srtory doesn't end tgere though. The finance associate informed us today that a better finance offer cam e through for us ane they saved us 7,000 dollars of i terest charges!! I couldn't be happier with our new Sequoia or the financeing. Although it took some time, it was worth it. More
Great Place to Buy A New or Used Vehicle I came here looking for a vehicle to buy. I was not sure if I would be able to buy anything because I did not have real good credit. In fact I thought I came here looking for a vehicle to buy. I was not sure if I would be able to buy anything because I did not have real good credit. In fact I thought my credit was kind of bad because I cannot even get a Lowes, Home Depot, or a sears card. They keep turning me down. My van that I have owned for 10 years broke down and I spent too much money trying to fix it until I was broke. I really did not know what to do. I started looking online and I found this dealer so I called and talked to Chuck and he told me to come in so that he can try to help me. Chuck really helped me find a van that will fit the needs of me and my family. Then we worked on the price of it. I did not have the down payment that the bank wanted on the day that I came in there. I told him that I can have it in just a couple of days. I really wanted this van, and needed it too. They worked with me on the down payment and let me still drive the van home. I took the down payment to them on the day that I told them that I could have it. He really worked with me and got the payment down to where I can afford it even after adding the warranty to the price. The people here was very nice, down to earth people who really seam to care about people. They made me feel like their biggest concern was helping my and my family, not just trying to sell a vehicle. I had been to other dealerships in years past and they seemed to be real pushy trying to sell with lots of pressure. I am very happy with the service that I received, and I really recommend that others go to Hendrick Toyota and talk with them when they need to buy another vehicle, even if they think that their credit is not good. This dealership will do their best to help you to find the vehicle that you need that is right for you, and the price that you can afford to pay each month. I am very happy now that I found Hendrick Toyota online and gave them a call. Thank you Hendrick Toyota. Jerry More

LONG time It took 3 hours to complete our purchase and most of that time was AFTER we agreed on a price. We came knowing what we wanted, had no trade-in, and no finance needs. It took hours to process the paperwork. Before signing any papers we said we didn't want to take delivery that day on top of which there was optional equipment to be installed that was NOT in stock. We were "forced" to artificially take delivery by driving the car out one driveway and back in the other. Before signing any paperwork, we also said that we wanted to leave a deposit and would send a brokerage check that could be deposited and would clear before we took delivery. Although the car was still in their possession we were "forced" to leave a check for the balance due and we had to fight hard not to have this automatically deposited. We were especially displeased by the finance manager whose "I'm a VIP; I'm all business; don't smile" attitude was immediately evident. More
