Service department is good, but sold a lemon 2.5 stars and that is only for the service department who I became very familiar with! I bought a car from this dealership at the end of May. The vehicle had higher miles (111k) but interior looked ok so I asked if I could take it to a mechanic to look at. The salesmen came back with a piece of paper showing their mechanic had checked off everything during his inspection and assured me it was their top mechanic. I bought the extended power train warranty thank God. One month after I bought the timing chain had to be replaced (service dept was great, Chrissie was awesome, got me into a loaner, stayed in contact), then the engine started rattling again, cv axle and tie rods bad (again Chrissie was great, tie rods not covered under warranty, then the wheel bearings started making noises (no response from service, guess Chrissie was tired of me at that point), starter went out on it, now brakes are bad and I have to replace them this week. And now moonroof won't open, thankful it's in closed position. I want to trade this car in but im upside down for sure at this point and can't. I won't be purchasing here again. Too many problems, used car or not. More

I first met Josie in 2016 when I came in for an oil change, she and I briefly discussed the possibilities of me purchasing a new vehicle being that the dealership was in the market to purchase my used vehicle. And after speaking to Josie for some time back and forth. We set up an appointment where I would come in take a test drive and discuss it a little further. After my test drive and falling in love with the car, I wasn't able to make that purchase at the time do to my credit. I wanted to make a trade-in of my car towards the new vehicle but it was requiring me to put down a deposit which I did not want to do, so we decided that I wouldn't wait a couple of months and try again later to see if my credit score will allow me to make the purchase and the manner in which I would like. Fast forward to January 4th of 2017 Josie contacted me again to see where I was in my process.. at that time we did a recheck of my credit score only to find that it wasn't quite where I needed it to be in order for me to make this purchase on my own or without a deposit we then discuss the possibility of a cosigner. Having a cosigner was not something I wanted to do but, after speaking to my father he was more than willing to cosign for me. Josie being the great and helpful sales associate that she is started the whole process for me over the phone. Once I had the finance part taken care of all I needed to do was pick out a vehicle. Josie and I talked about what I was looking for in a new vehicle I told her she did the research and she had two vehicles before I even got there for me to check out. I fell in love with the second one a 2017 Toyota Camry SE.I drove Tiffany ( my new Camry) home that day, I was also allowed to come back the following day with my father to fill out his part of the paperwork. The reason I chose to write a review about my recent experience and purchasing a new vehicle it's because of Josie, she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was okay for me and what I needed. Josie is the only reason I even considered purchasing another vehicle from this dealership, not only was she very helpfu,l kind and very patient with me throughout this whole process. She made me feel important and she valued my time. She also reworked her schedule in order to accommodate mine. I am very appreciative of all her efforts. Hendricks Toyota of North Charleston has a gem in Josie. She was so much fun to work with. Again thank you thank you thank you Josie. PS. Love the Prius. Slow service with financial records. Overall great. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Traded in a 2015 Prius for a 2017 Prius on December 30th. The 2017 has been added but the principal owed does not reflect the cancellation of service and maintenance coverage I felt pressured to accept but cancelled the very next day. And finance charges have accrued on an incorrect balance! Today is January 16th. When will you get the records right? Other than that, love the Prius. This is our third. More
