Worst car buying experience I've ever had I have purchased 7 Toyota's in the past ten years, mainly from this location. Ever since Gene Reed was bought out by Hendrick it seems the customer s I have purchased 7 Toyota's in the past ten years, mainly from this location. Ever since Gene Reed was bought out by Hendrick it seems the customer service has been on the decline. The sales team makes you think they are about customer service but once you sign on the dotted line that all changes. My sales person Will told me numerous things that turned out to be lies, but unfortunately I did not find out until after the fact. Will didn't even show up to deliver my vehicle because it was his day off. He had someone else do it. So unprofessional. The purchase price and finance rate that the finance person had for me when I was ready to sign was not what I had agreed to. He had to leave his office twice to confirm what I told him the agreed term and rate was. I guess they were hoping I was clueless enough to sign without reading the contract. The incompetence at this place was shocking. Then I find out that they had created a fake email account to have my review from Toyota emailed to because they knew they would get a bad review. This place is beyond sketchy. I do have to say that I have purchased cars since it became Hendrick Toyota but with much better experiences. I am not sure if this place has come under new management in the past year or so, but something has changed and the focus is no longer on having life long customers, but instead on doing what is necessary to make the sale. Pretty sad. If you take anything from this review, please go to Fred Anderson Toyota and at least give them a shot to earn your business. I had the opportunity to and I am now kicking myself for not doing so. I will never go back to Hendrick Toyota after this experience. Toytota may have just lost a life long Toyota customer due to this dealership. I also do not know why it keeps defaulting to Yes when I chose No for “Would you recommend this dealership”. I DO NOT recommend this dealership. More

As someone who spent many years in sales, I tend to be very critical of salespeople. From start to finish, it was a great experience. When I called to verify the vehicle was in stock, I was told to ask for Danny upon arrival. He greeted us at the front door and proceeded to take us for a test drive. He was very knowledgeable and personable. After we decided it was the vehicle for us, he helped us to get a great deal. The whole process went very smoothly and we didn't have to play games all day. We are very happy with our new vehicle and the deal we received. I will absolutely contact Danny for our next vehicle purchase. Thanks Danny. More

Fast, responsive, thorough I brought my 2006 Tundra in because a maintenance light had come on and it was vibrating, not its usual smooth ride. For my 0700 appointment, I was met immediately--par for the course at Hendrick--by service advisor Kody, and taken care of right away. They had to keep truck overnight because parts not available right then, but I got a loaner car (Camry) without hassle. They took care of all the issues and the truck now drives like its old self--smooth as silk. My experience at Hendrick North Charleston has always been excellent; this is no exception. I would definitely ask for Cody again as service advisor. (previously had Nicole Crutcher as service advisor for my regular scheduled maintenance, and she was also excellent) More
