My fault for going back. After getting totally ripped off for a catalytic converter replacement for my wife's Sequoia at the cost of over $1700 I should have known better. FYI...the check engine light came b for a catalytic converter replacement for my wife's Sequoia at the cost of over $1700 I should have known better. FYI...the check engine light came back on 2 weeks later and I fixed it myself for $270. Anyway I needed a used truck ASAP. Went there to look at the ones they had posted online, however they fail to tell you they may be at other locations throughout the country. For a non refundable fee they will bring it to Concord after you make a signed deal without seeing the vehicle!! Really???? The salesperson only wanted to talk about new vehicles and had no regard for our needs. Oh..and 3 hrs after we got home, my wife was missing her driver's license. When the salesperson made a copy of it he put it in his pocket and never called us to let us know he forgot to give it back. Toyota of Concord will never get another dime from me. Screwed over enough! Shameful business...SHAMEFUL. I rated the friendliness N/A because it is totally fake and doesn't deserve a rating. Rather ironic, but I bought a 2006 Tundra the very next week that I absolutely love. From a Dodge dealer. More
This dealership only works by deceit and lies. Nothing is as it seems. They will bully you and tell you want you want to hear, right up until you ask to see the final invoice, somehow then it always becomes as it seems. They will bully you and tell you want you want to hear, right up until you ask to see the final invoice, somehow then it always becomes your fault, that you misunderstood.... I went on several occassions to buy a particular used car and they couldnt get it right any of those times, including the last time when i finalized a deal with the general manager on a weekend, just to get an email after hours stating "so sorry we just sold the car" out from under me. Then had the nerve to ask if they can help me find another one. They are VERY NICE, however NICE doesnt sell a car, numbers and truth do. Nice may get you in the door, however that is not what is needed to close a deal, they are seriously lacking in that department. I am not sure they know what it takes to close a deal with a savy consumer. Gone are the days where being nice was the only skill necessary as a car salesman. Consumers are educated and want a good deal, with real numbers and someone who can answer questions about the product (really just to see if they know their own product, b/c we have already done the research). Needless to say i wont ever buy a car from them and I urge you not to get caught in their web of deceit, they will waste your time! Once again they lived up to the "car salesmen reputation". More
I went to the dealership and gave them my budget. I was done with deal with 30 minutes. Jim was very honest, responsible, and upfront. There were no games as I have dealt at TOYOTA OF NORTH CHARLOTTE. Wil done with deal with 30 minutes. Jim was very honest, responsible, and upfront. My husband saw an ad for a certified SUV on their website and called to get a price. That same day I visited the dealer in person (I did not know my husband had already called that morning to price the same and called to get a price. That same day I visited the dealer in person (I did not know my husband had already called that morning to price the same vehicle). I was given a price $1100.00 HIGHER than my husband. The sales manager would not budge on the price they had given me and said it was rock bottom (even after I showed them comps I had printed out from other Toyota dealers in the area with similar vehicles that were priced much less). Also, the salesperson said there were no financing deals going on (which proved to be untrue as they were clearly outlined on Toyota's website). Lastly, the salesperson kept trying to steer me towards a loan with a higher APR and a longer term, "so I could afford the monthly payments." Needless to say, I left the dealership and purchased my Toyota in Statesville and was highly satisfied!!! More
Salesman was at first more interested in selling us a used car than new. On second visit, the salesperson spent very little time with us. Let us test drive vehicles but was too busy to assist us. used car than new. On second visit, the salesperson spent very little time with us. Let us test drive vehicles but was too busy to assist us. Never tried to get another fellow to assist. We ended up going to Scott Clark Toyota where we were helped despite how busy they were and we bought a truck that very day. Dealership had a limited selection of Tacomas on the lot. Counted only 5. More
