Jon was absolutely fantastic, he is not only knowledgeable salesman but a very nice man who wants to make people happy. He did everything possible to get me the car I wanted without having to settle on any features. The deal that I received on my Kia Soul was absolutely fantastic. My experiences with looking at the Kia line of cars, test driving, and the final purchase was much better than my experiences with other dealerships. This was not my first time purchasing a new vehicle so I driving, and the final purchase was much better than my experiences with other dealerships. This was not my first time purchasing a new vehicle so I knew what to expect. The sales team, specifically Foster was honest, direct, and friendly. For this reason I stayed with Hendrick Kia for my purchase. Overall, it was a fairly smooth buying experience. More
I would highly recommend Hendrick Kia of Cary. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I had to leave the dealership, but was able to text with Jon and he found the right car for me. Had a great car buying experience. Was helped the minute I walked in . Worked with me very well to buy the car I wanted. Which wasn't easy . It took a couple days but it was all taken care of . Salesman was very friendly 0 pressure, no hassle and understood my concerns. He was young minded which helped with his sale because he related to me and that spoke volumes to me and was the reason I bou understood my concerns. First I can say is that buying a vehicle is not always easy, but my experience was well worth it. I had one of the best sales associate working with me. Bought my KIA optima here about a year ago. Salesman and pricing were great! When I got to the service department for scheduled maintenance the first time they forgot to pencil my appointment in after I dro pricing were great! When I got to the service department for scheduled maintenance the first time they forgot to pencil my appointment in after I drove 3 hours for my appointment and the second and third time their mechanic didn't clean their hands off and left oil finger prints all over my interior... Not to mention they send out oil change coupons for a discounted package (no where on the coupon does it say there are any exclusions) but when I went to use it they said this doesn't apply for synthetic oil changes (which is the type of oil required in my car). I only went to this dealer for a couple months and ditched them! I still get coupons in the mail a year later from them and they still say the same thing; nothing about excluding synthetic oil. Find another dealership to deal with, it's not worth the hassle of dealing with Hendrick KIA. More
Rick and the entire staff have been terrific for us! We have taken in our Kia and our Ford. Words cannot describe exactly how much we appreciate this service department. I have been there a couple of times and it is so much like "Cheers"...where everybody knows your name and everybody is friendly and cares about you. Not to mention they are excellent mechanics, they all know their stuff. If you want it done right AND you want to be treated right...go to Hendrick Kia. More
In May of 2012, after years of driving older vehicles In May of 2012, after years of driving older vehicles that were unreliable and costly to maintain, my husband and I made the decision to pu In May of 2012, after years of driving older vehicles that were unreliable and costly to maintain, my husband and I made the decision to purchase a new Kia. Our primary reason for incurring this new debt was so that I could drive an economical and warrantied vehicle that wouldn’t break down anytime soon. Imagine my distress, then, in October of 2012, when my 4-month-old car sputtered and died at an intersection. My husband could not get it started and we had to have it towed to the nearest dealer- Hendrick, in the Cary Auto Mall in Cary, NC. Little did I know that they would have my car for several weeks . Two weeks earlier I had taken my car to Jiffy Lube, paying top dollar for the deluxe oil change in order to accurately comply with the terms of my Kia warranty. Jiffy Lube failed to properly replace my oil plug, and as I drove around the next few days, engine oil gradually leaked out, coating the engine, the engine compartment, and of course, eventually seizing the engine itself. The Hendrick dealership had our brand new car with a completely useless engine and we were stuck. Enter Rick Cascino, Service Manager for Hendrick Kia. Over the course of several weeks, Rick took it upon himself to hold Jiffy Lube accountable for the full replacement of the engine so that it would still be covered by warranty. He communicated with them on a regular basis, then followed up with us via phone and text, sometimes several times in one day, over the course of several weeks. Even though our trouble had nothing whatsoever to do with Kia, even though Jiffy Lube attempted to dodge responsibility- and then attempted a subpar and inadequate replacement engine, even though Hurricane Sandy interrupted the production and/or shipping of our brand new engine, Rick Cascino acted as guardian angel and advocate for us, demanding Jiffy Lube not shirk their responsibility and ensuring we got exactly what we originally had. He never once asked for special compensation, never once let us know that this wasn’t his responsibility, or once made us feel like a burden. He took complete ownership of our crisis and then delivered our new car to us fully serviced and good as new. He even had it cleaned up and detailed for us! My husband and I have a lot on our plates- three children, two full-time jobs, we live with and take care of his ailing elderly parents, and I’m a nursing student at the local community college. This problem seemed overwhelming , until Rick Cascino and Hendrick Kia got involved. In this day and age, great professional customer service, and personally doing good things even if you don’t have to, is very rare. I don’t feel that I’m being overly dramatic when I say Rick has restored my faith in big business, and even humanity. My teenager is about to get his driver’s license and his first car. I’m thinking about trading up my Kia model to the next level of Kia. Of all the decisions we’re going to have to make about our car purchases in the near future, where we’ll go to shop won’t be a hard one. As long as Rick is at Hendrick Kia of Cary, we’ll be lifelong customers. More
