I called Bernie, and he set up my appointment. I was literally in and out of the service department in less than five minutues, with my problem resolved ( a new visor was installed). He was very professional and demonstrated exceptional knowledge of the vehicles, prices, performance, options... you name it; if you had a question about something, Bernie knew the answer to it. The car that I initially went to look at had already been sold, but Bernie took me around the lot to show me models of similar price, quality, mileage, etc. I left feeling somewhat discouraged, but then again perhaps I was far too specific with what I was looking for. I returned roughly a week later, with a more open mind and an appointment scheduled with Bernie in advance. He already had a few cars on the lot picked out that he thought I might be interested in, and I test drove the EX that I am now the proud owner of. Instantly I felt like it was the car for me. It was clean, ran great, was thoroughly inspected, and the test drive was very enjoyable; however, it was a little out of my price range. Through the next several days I texted back and forth with Bernie trying to settle on a price that was fair to myself and Hendrick Honda of Charleston. After much deliberation and number-crunching, I found a price that fit my budget, and Bernie was able to make it work. I walked off the lot with a great Honda Civic for an equally great price.
