Horrible Service Experience Took my Odyssey in for it's first service and an open safety recall. Upon arriving, I was told it should be ready in about 90 minutes. Good. 90 minute Took my Odyssey in for it's first service and an open safety recall. Upon arriving, I was told it should be ready in about 90 minutes. Good. 90 minutes go by and I go to check on it. I was told that the safety recall actually takes around 4 hours so it wouldn't be ready for another 5-6 at least, because, for that reason they hadn't even started the service. So not only did I sit there for 90 minutes for nothing, but no one bothered to let me know. I was then told that they could get me a rental and I could come pick up tomorrow. I was told it'll be here in 15 minutes, fine. 25 minutes go by and they finally show up with the crustiest Chrysler minivan they could find. We do a walk around and then I'm told make sure you bring it back with the half tank that's in there now. Wait, what? So you're mess-up has forced me into a van that I don't even want, wasted hours of my time, inconvenienced me to have to bring this back tomorrow, and now you want me to replace the gas that I shouldn't even have to be using in the first place? This entire experience was an absolute disaster. Went and picked up the van, the only smooth part of this process. To be honest, the fact that after all this I was still charged for the oil change rubs me the wrong way. I will never come back over here for service again. I'll give Stokes Honda a try. More

WILL WASTE YOUR TIME This dealership is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received in 39 years! Who leaves someone sitting in waiting room waiting for a rent This dealership is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received in 39 years! Who leaves someone sitting in waiting room waiting for a rental car for over 2 hours???? This dealer... no one even checked in on car they are required to provide via my service contract! Speak to the person over this mess... all he can say is sorry... what about my wasted time .. they I didn’t get to spend with my daughter reading and enjoying time before work????? Truth is they don’t care!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE... find a dealer where service is first!!!!! Basically anywhere but Hendrick Honda of west Ashley!!! More
Sell you a car then drop you I purchased my Honda last month. I wanted to have leather seats installed so I dropped the car off and received a loaner. Returned the loaner when my I purchased my Honda last month. I wanted to have leather seats installed so I dropped the car off and received a loaner. Returned the loaner when my car was ready. Much to my surprise when I received my credit card statement there was a charge from the rental company. I have emailed 2 different people at the dealership to question this charge and neither have bothered to reach out to me. Word of warning, once they make their sale, don’t expect to hear from them again. What a disappointment! More
Thanks Had 2016 Accord serviced for extra safety on trip to Charleston. 3 days later key fob died, 8 days later car battery died. Stranded. Called Hendrick Honda, they answered phone on 3rd ring. A great guy told me exactly how to get “a jump start”. I am back home and my Honda dealer still has not responded. 3 1/2 hours for the “Express Service” I had a 10:00 appointment. Was told they were really backed up and could be two hours. When I went to the desk at noon, was told they had not started I had a 10:00 appointment. Was told they were really backed up and could be two hours. When I went to the desk at noon, was told they had not started servicing my car yet, and could be another hour. I didn’tvwant to leave after investing two hours time, so I waited. When I finally reveived word it was finished, I paid, retrieved the car and found that they didn’t install a small panel that had fallen off under dash (I requested this be done). It was still sitting in the passenger seat. This wait and incompetence is not acceptable. Will think twice about buting another car there and definitely will find an independent mechanic!!! More
Service Appoinment??? I had a 9:15 appointment for an oil change today. When I arrived and asked how long it would be, I was tolde it would be 2-2.5 hours! I informed the rep that I had an appointment, and she told me coming here is like going to the doctor, you check in, and then wait. My appointment gave me priority over walk-ins! What good is an appointment time if you are not going to adhere to it. I made an appoinment because I don't have 2 hours to sit in the dealership for a basic service. More
Felt like they didn’t want my business I had a 2016 Toyota Sienna and wanted to get the 2019 Honda Odessey. The sales rep quickly informed me he doesn’t work on commission and it doesn’t re I had a 2016 Toyota Sienna and wanted to get the 2019 Honda Odessey. The sales rep quickly informed me he doesn’t work on commission and it doesn’t really matter if he closes the deal. He talked about sales managers keeping the pricing to themselves and all negotiating went thru sales managers. The sales manager came over and was arguing with me when I told him what he was telling me made no sense. I asked why would I get a 2018 for the same price of the 2019, he became worked up and unable to provide a reason. Finally he went down more on the price for the 2018 but seemed angry. Then he said my trade was no good. All said and done I spent 3hrs there and was handed back my keys to my Sienna with a don’t call me, I’ll call you attitude. No explanation. Today I went to Hendrick Toyota. I was in and out in 1.5hrs, treated like a queen and now the proud owner of a 2018 Toyota Sienna XLE. Day and night difference. Hendrick Honda could stand to learn a lot from Hendrick Toyota. More
Honda Service of Charleston is the best! I had an excellent experience in the service department with my son's 2007 Honda Accord. Eddie Simpson took very good care of me, was polite and helpf I had an excellent experience in the service department with my son's 2007 Honda Accord. Eddie Simpson took very good care of me, was polite and helpful and followed through on everything he said he would do. How refreshing! His boss Travis Oltmann got involved in helping us locate a part and he was totally awesome as well. The service department is clean, comfortable and even had donuts, fresh coffee, phone charging stations and a big screen tv! My son loves his Honda and I highly recommend the service department here. They are the best! More
