I am updating my review based on significant new information regarding a vehicle I purchased from Hendrick as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with a CPO Wrap / Platinum warranty. I have been withou information regarding a vehicle I purchased from Hendrick as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with a CPO Wrap / Platinum warranty. I have been without my vehicle since June 2, 2025. After months of delays and repeated assurances that parts were “on the way,” I was ultimately informed by Ford that the vehicle contains a non-standard wiring harness with no assigned part number and no proper replacement available, making it effectively not reasonably repairable. The vehicle has since been declared a total loss by my insurance company. This critical information was never disclosed at the time of purchase. Despite the vehicle being sold with a CPO Wrap / Platinum warranty, I have experienced repeated denials and a lack of support, and the warranty has not been honored in a meaningful way given the nature of the defect and the resulting loss of use. As a result of this situation, I: Have been without a vehicle for over six months Have paid over $4,500 in out-of-pocket rental expenses Have continued making $467 monthly loan payments on a vehicle that was not drivable In addition to the financial burden, this situation has caused significant stress and disruption, as I am a full-time teacher who depends on reliable transportation to get to and from work each day. To date, Hendrick has taken no accountability for selling a vehicle with undisclosed issues that ultimately rendered it a total loss, and I am still seeking a fair resolution for the financial losses I have incurred. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Hendrick. I strongly encourage anyone considering a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle to request full documentation, ask detailed questions about inspections, and fully understand what the certification and warranty actually cover. The service department (specifically Sal) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They completed my service/recall in a timely fashion while continuing to keep my updated on their progress. Jeff (Sales Manager) was willing to listen to my circumstances with empathy and offered a solution that benefited both parties. I'm extremely thankful and will continue to have my vehicle serviced and, potentially, purchase a vehicle when needed. More
