I purchased a car in December, and it has now been almost 70 days, yet I still haven’t received my temporary registration. While the salesman was a true professional and provided excellent service, the finance department—specifically Julio Coterez—has been a nightmare to deal with. He never responds to calls or emails, and his colleagues constantly cover for him with vague excuses, claiming they are "working on it" or that someone will "get back to me." They blame a third party, yet still claim they will file it and send it later to their titling agency. However, I later found out that they have their own titling department, making their excuses even more suspicious. I sent at least eight emails reminding Julio Coterez to send my temporary plates. He repeatedly promised that it wasn’t a problem and assured me he would take care of it. However, the next day, he was off, and I was told no one had access to his files. After that, he stopped answering my calls and never replied to my emails. Another finance team member, Peter, repeatedly gave me excuses just to get me off the phone, but nothing ever got resolved. They have ignored my concerns and talked down to me, as if I have no right to demand what I already paid for. My name is Marco McMickle, and I stand behind my claim. I am considering filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and will make sure others know about this dealership’s shady practices. This has been a disgusting experience, and I regret ever dealing with them. I will also be adding my emails and phone call logs to back up my complaint. We needed a vehicle ASAP since our car was in an accident and deemed a total loss and we right away contacted a whole bunch of Honda dealerships and this one had the vehicle we wanted and immediately arrange and deemed a total loss and we right away contacted a whole bunch of Honda dealerships and this one had the vehicle we wanted and immediately arranged that we receive the vehicle the same day as we requested with an excellent rate. They were efficient, respectful, and professional. Mekiah was commited and accommodating from beginning to end. He even drove our vehicle an hour to our house to make sure it arrived that same day, as needed. I highly recommend working with them as they were a pleasure to work with. They were courteous, accommodating, with great communication. We attempted to reach out to other Honda dealerships and the others talked alot but didn't do much and inconvenienced us. If you want a pleasant and efficient experience with nice people, I believe Hendrick Honda is the way to go. More

Firstly, my experience with the TrueCar service was truly negative. I received a quote through them which stated that the Honda Civic I wanted to buy would cost me $29,993 cash or $488 financed at Hendricks negative. I received a quote through them which stated that the Honda Civic I wanted to buy would cost me $29,993 cash or $488 financed at Hendricks Honda. Furthermore, it stated that the interest rate would 5.34% for 72 months and that I had to pay $105 at the car signing with no money down and excellent credit. In addition, the quote stated that I would get a dealer discount of $1487. Given that information I basically ran to the dealership to get the deal. The deal I received from Hendrix Honda was at 6% interest with a payment of $536.81 a month for 72 months without the $1487 dollar discount. I had to trade in my old car and got $500 for it and I had to give a $2500 down payment. So nothing in the TrueCar quote / offer was honored. My only regret was that I didn’t ask nor was I shown the breakdown of the itemized total price of the vehicle before signing the sales contract. The initial cost of the car was listed at $26,247 and with all the add ons they threw in there it came out to a total of $36,514.42. I happened to look at the contract on the thumb drive I was given at the dealer with all the information on it on 10/21/24. I wouldn’t have purchased the vehicle if I saw the total cost of the Honda Civic Sport. A $10,267.42 mark up with taxes. I trusted but didn’t verify and that was my own fault. I had to come back to the dealership the very next day because the car had a break issue / grinding noise in the front wheel wells that took about 2 hours to fix.
