I have never purchased a car on my own and I have recently became a single mother so this was a new experience for me. I had shopped around for awhile before coming to this dealership and was very frustrated because I felt as if the other sales people were very pushy and told me what I "needed" instead of trying to help me find what I wanted. I stopped by late one night to look over the lot so that I would not be smothered by pushy salespeople. I found a car I thought I was interested in and called the next day. Fortunately I was put through to Deanna, and after weeks of trying to find the type vehicle I liked and many test drives later, I fell in love with the honda pilot, but the color wasn't the one I wanted. We searched other honda dealerships and found one and she had one shipped in for me and I have been totally pleased. I had never thought much about warranties but this one had very low miles and I also have the security of knowing me and my children are taken care of in this vehicle. I purchased the car about 3 weeks ago and had the first experience with service today with something that I wasn't completely satisfied with cosmetically, and unlike most dealerships who would have said that it wasn't their problem, I left in my honda pilot very satisfied. I plan on this vehicle lasting many years but I would recommend Deanna and Honda Cars of Hickory to anyone. Thanks Deanna for a job well done. More
Deanna was the reason my wife and I bought the car. She wasnt pushy and tried very hard to make sure we had plenty of time to make decisions. We were shopping for a relatively inexpensive used car, yet Mark worked relentlessly and was very patient with us as our goals changed a bit while we adjusted our financial plans during the searching process. I will add, this process lasted several weeks due to our needs and additionally this all occurred at a time when Mark was experiencing a very busy and successful period in sales. Despite all this, we were treated as if we were the top priority customer at all times. Mark's work ethic and customer service made this automobile buying experience the best we have ever experienced in over 25 years, and we plan to return when we are ready to purchase again. More

THE SALESMEN JAY WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT MY NEW CRV THAT I BOUGHT. Mark Buchanan's heart for his cutomers is a lost art. We thought this type of service was non-existent. We have dealerships in our town, but chose this dealership simply because of Mark's willingness to pu thought this type of service was non-existent. I took my 2008 Honda Fit into the dealership to have (2) recalls taken care of. I was greeted very quick by Mark Sutton, with a smile on his face. We were very tired from our drive from Chattanooga to the dealership. It was worth it because of the efficient work given by this dealership. The only problem I have is my extended warranty can only be done 300 miles away from where I live now.I think if you buy the warranty from a Honda dealership it should be taken care of at any Honda dealership. Next, my phone call to the dealership was answered by a friendly, professional receptionist who referred me to James Conley, salesman. He responded to my questions about the 2008 Certified Honda and confirmed that he would wait for me -- I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to test drive the vehicle. I arrived at 8:15pm. The price had been reduced, the picture on the internet was beautiful and worth the drive. James met me with an easy smile and walked me to this Belize Pearl Blue sensational 2008 Honda Accord V-6 loaded with a navigation system; leather interior; awesome sound system; HandsFreeLink phone; Maintenance Minder; Zagat restaurant guide; heated driver seat; lumbar support; power seat and windows; a DVD to guide me through all of the necessary set up. Being a previous owner of two Honda Accords, 1990 and 1998, I was still surprised and gratified by the smooth ride, comfort, and the amazing technology. Keep in mind I had done my homework by checking the CarFax and VIN number and price of this vehicle within a 250 mile radius. Everything was fact based. By 9:30pm I had driven the car and we began the paperwork. Exhausted, I asked if we could finish the paperwork the following morning. James asked the receptionist to call a nearby hotel, make my reservation and then drove ahead to make sure I got there safely. The following morning I returned to the dealership in my rental car and finished the paperwork. The burden of returning my rental car and getting my "new" car home began to overwhelm me. However, James made arrangements to drive my "new" car to my home the following day in order to alleviate any further anxieties from my mind. I drove the 1 1/2 hour back to Indian Trail a very satisfied customer. The next morning James drove my "new" car into my driveway. Now that's service above and beyond any expectation. We just purchased our third Honda from Hendricks since 2004. We like the way Hendricks treats their customers. We have never had a bad experience there.
