I purchased a used car for my daughter and all went well. 4 days later I purchased a 2015. What a mistake! We loved the car but after the way we were treated by Hendrick Honda of Hickory, not only do we hate the car, we would rather drive our 1996 car instead of the brand new one. It would have been nice if someone would have been nice for Anyone at Hendrick to take 5 minutes and show us how to set up Bluetooth, etc. I guess they are too busy. The service department likes to park vehicles About 4 inches away from another car and they will not lock your car. More
Classic scam on used cars I drove 5 hours to get a Honda accord with a 6 speed. After they forcefully find out what you owe on your trade, they won't offer much above it. They I drove 5 hours to get a Honda accord with a 6 speed. After they forcefully find out what you owe on your trade, they won't offer much above it. They gave me 22000 and have my old Toyota for sale right now for 29500. They only cleaned it up. I felt like a piece of meat there. They are your classic xxxx bags used car salesman only out for profit. More

I went in and asked for a van with RES and was shown a van without RES,but was promised to have factory installed DVD instead I have third-party installed DVD and now I cant control my DVD system for my three kids from the front. I have to stop van to change DVD for my kids because its behind me. I personally will never purchase a car or recommend anyone to this dealership. I put my trust in them and was misled. Was told I would be contacted by management its been 2 weeks and nothing. I have lost all hope in this dealership. More
Upselling me falsely has permanently lost you a customer. I came in recently for a timing belt changeout......Was told oil pump leaking, yet no oil found ever in my garage or anywhere else. I was told another I came in recently for a timing belt changeout......Was told oil pump leaking, yet no oil found ever in my garage or anywhere else. I was told another four hours of labor to replace oil pump gasket (even though they were right at the spot to have done it much quicker because they were changing the timing belt). I was then told my brakes needed to be replaced immediately, and it was a safety issue.....I needed the car so I instructed the dealership to only change belt and water pump, and return the car to me. I would return the following week to have the brakes replaced. Two weeks later, on a hunch, I took my car to another reputable auto shop in the county, and was told my brakes were fine, that I didn't need to have them changed for another 5-6K miles, at least.......I asked for a recheck to make sure.......He confirmed no brakes needed to be done, and told me I could wait another couple oil changes before it would be necessary. He then asked me who told me i needed to replace them....Of course I told him Honda.....He NEVER spoke ill of you, to his credit......But, this is not the first time this has happened to me...The upsells have gotten so bad, my wife refuses to go to the dealership without me. I bought my Honda from you and was going to buy my son a Honda from you in two months......No way, you have not only lost my repair business and a car sale, you have lost me as a customer permanently.......Interestingly, this bad service began when we bought the car from Rick McClure. It needed some touch up paint and very minor alterations, which he promised to do the following week. I called his office and cell phone repeatedly to get the items done, and he never answered ONE of my repeated phone calls.......Not one........Despite that, we still continued to bring our car in for service, but each time we did some routine service work, we were looking at estimates for double and triple the original estimate........We were told repeatedly this was "must have" service work. We have had the car for six years and it's still running so I guess it wasn't that urgent, only to their bottom line......You can't trade on the Honda name forever, at some point, you gotta make it happen.....for the customer. The one bright spot was our service guy Wes....He was courteous and professional.....I just think he is under pressure to perform for Honda... More
FELT LIKE I WAS TRAPPED Well this was just a weird experience.. The salesman is the only thing I do not have any complains about. His name was Ryan Buchanan. Very nice guy. F Well this was just a weird experience.. The salesman is the only thing I do not have any complains about. His name was Ryan Buchanan. Very nice guy. Feel sorry for him for having a horrible boss.. The guy that was doing my financing came over and I told him my story and he told me this. "If I start to work on this are you going to drive a car off the lot tonight." Well granted it was 7:30 and they did close at 8. Well I was kinda surprised to have a finance person tell me something like that. Even though I'm sure he was having a hard time. That just put me in the wrong mind set. Well I ignored it and we had a couple laughs but it didn't help. Looked at a couple cars and I finally found one that I liked but was a little out of my budget. I told them that the overall price is what I was trying to get dropped and the monthly payments. Well we get around 9:20-9:30. Still have not heard what my final financing price was... Just heard that my payments were $40 dollars cheaper than what they are now. Get back inside and sit at the finance managers desk and he says he had stuff waiting on him at home. Like I was holding him up. I got fed up with it. Told them I didn't wanna do anything and that I appreciated them staying over and helping. Went inside and asked for my keys and they kept talking trying to figure out what they can do to get my out in one of their cars. Then the icing on the cake is the Head Manager came out. Do not remember his name but he needs to find a different city to work in. Started being smart to me saying "I needed their car". I told him that I actually didn't need a car at all and that I could walk to work (which is no more than a quarter of a mile from where I live). Said for the salesman to get my keys and I forgot I had them and walked out, before leaving I said I appreciate them again... I left, but forgot some papers and luckily the finance manager and the salesman were still there closing up. They let me back in to get some papers and we talked and realized that I have been going through a lot and they understood what I was going through and they apologized. The finance manager was going through some things as well which can be why he acted how he did. But we left on good terms and they said they wouldn't give up on me and they would try to figure something out. But those few things really got to me and made it to where I didn't want to trade. However the GM I believe who he is should honestly find somewhere else to work and learn how to give good customer service and stop thinking he is higher than everyone else. More

Based on our rese My 83 year old Mother decided during her recovery from surgery that she wanted to celebrate her return to independence in a new car. Based on our research, the Accord was a perfect fit for her. Sales Consultant Suzanne Ekonomon at Hedrick Honda Hickory was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process. She trained us how all the features operated and programmed her navigation system. Very positive experience with everyone involved at this dealership. More
The Good...and the Bad? GOOD: Generally had a good experience at HHH. Caleb Icard and Lee Killian score big marks with us for customer service and effort from the first phone call to the last handshake out the door (emailing pictures of vehicle, explaining car features, answering ALL our questions, tube of touch up paint, etc.). Glad there was tv for kids to watch. Facility is very clean and neat. BAD/GOOD/BAD: When we went to sign the papers, listed price was $1,000 more than the Cars.com advertised price. Was it bait 'n switch? We don't know, but the GOOD is that HHH honored the lower price, and we drove away pleased...4 HOURS later. Would recommend HHH to a friend and would buy from here again. More
