First Vehicle Purchase As a financially independent college student within 2 months of graduation, I did a lot of shopping around in the search of a new vehicle. I was referred to Hendrick Honda by a family member who had worked with some of the Hendrick staff in the past. Out all of the dealerships I visited, Hendrick provided the best experience by far. Most car salesmen are very pushy and can make the car buying experience extremely stressful. Mark Buchanan, the sales representative I worked with at Hendrick Honda was an exception. Mark took the time to answer my questions and allowed me to shop at my own pace. As a 21 year old shopping around for a car, I often felt that salesmen at other dealerships did not take me seriously or value my time, even after walking in with a prepared amortization schedule and a specifics on the vehicle I was looking for. Mark Buchanan showed me the upmost respect. Long story short, I was so content with the service and experience that I test-drove and bought the vehicle all on the same day. Since my purchase, Mark Buchanan has gone out of his way to stay in touch and ensure that any questions concerning the vehicle had been answered and that I was satisfied with the shopping experience. II asked Darryl to sit in the car with me and listen as I changed from drive to reverse. It made the noise and within 5 seconds he said " it's your mirror. We can fix that". It was and they did. Honda Cars of Hickory is the best!!!! I'm on my 6th Honda and don't plan on owning anything but a Honda.
