From our first walk onto the lot, to the day we drove away in our new Accord, Bob was patient and extremely helpful with our questions. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was helpful and happy to see us, even when we showed up unscheduled on a Sunday wanting to take yet another look. We knew what we wanted and came prepared, and everyone at the dealership seemed amenable to working with our requests. We felt low pressure to actually leave with a car on any particular day we visited, which in the end resulted in a happy purchase. More

He tolerated a thousand questions it seemed like and I picked up the car on Saturday. My Mom wanted to ride with me and she has a hearing impairment and the staff was just so respectful and professional with her and that in itself was a plus for me. The dealership was very professional and respectful. Every person we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. My salesman was Kelly Secrest and Patrick Greene did all the paperwork. I have no regrets with purchasing from this dealership - I just wish it was in Asheville (hint - hint) but the drive to Hickory was worth the pleasant experience that I had. More

Hendrick Honda Hickory is a Godsend for Rick Hendrick, as we experienced their excellent Service Department each and every time we serviced the Accord. When our 2014 Accord was lost to an accident, it was a no brainier to look to Hendrick Honda Hickory to purchase a new Accord. Being Accord owners since our first experience with a 1993 Accord SE. Which performed above expectations for 20 plus years and over 285,000 miles before being lost to a Hit and Run driver in Charlotte. This is where good fortune looked my way. I did an online search and visited the TrueCar website and was overwhelmed by the feedback my email box received. I believe it was the positive caricature traits and a sense of really caring about my needs that led me to Bob Scanlon's email. He was the only dealer I replied to or had contact with throughout this process. After years of purchasing vehicles for my family and helping others, I know all the tricks and sadly have seen it all. Honestly, I was not looking forward to going through it all again. Then stepped up Bob Scanlon. A man ready to do whatever it would take to honestly earn my business and that he did. Firstly, Hendrick Honda Hickory did not have the Accord we were looking for. Bob set out and found several Accords he could have for me in a couple of days. But as I was researching, I decided it would probably be better for me to purchase a 2017 Honda Accord Touring rather than an EX-L with Nav and add up to all the features we wanted. This didn't bother Bob one bit who agreed with my decision and set about finding the Touring model in the color we wanted. One day later it was not only in Hickory, but it had tinted windows and a nice pin stripe to boot. And he made all of this happen with no extra cost to me. Bob helped me get no haggle or trickery price on the Touring that is lower than the average price per TrueCar plus five upgrades added to the vehicle. And he did all of this with a smile and absolutely no pressure on me. This is why I am very happy to recommend Bob Scanlon and Hendrick Honda Hickory to anyone out there looking for a new Honda. From the beginning right up to and after driving the car off the lot, Bob was right there making sure this monumental experience was not only pleasant, but well handled so there were absolutely no hiccups. I honestly can't say enough here in this review to thank Bob Scanlon properly for making our new Accord purchase as pleasant and satisfying as he did. Bob Scanlon, (803) 944-3224.
