Amazing! I was looking to get out of my 2016 civic for some time now, and Nathan kept telling me to come see him and he would help me out. Well I didn’t believe him because my negative equity seemed to be holding me back at every other dealership I went to. So I finally drove an hour and a half to see him, best decision I made! He had all of my paperwork ready and the car I liked online detailed and gassed up! He offered me the most for my trade and got my payments where I could afford them! Aaron was there ready for me to sign everything; talked me through the process and explained my lease agreement to me. They both exceeded my expectations and definitely set the standards high for car shopping! I will be making my trips here in the future even if it’s an hour and a half from me! More
Bad service department experience. I called the service department to schedule an oil change on a used civic that I had purchased from another dealership. The first two questions were has the vehicle ever serviced at Hendrick Honda and did I purchase my vehicle from Hendrick Honda. My answer was no. The reply was can not get you in today. I would have felt better about her answer if the questions were not asked about my vehicle being purchased at the dealership. I would have thought the service department would be happy to add new customer and be able to take on oil changes with out appointments. I was willing to wait or drop off the vehicle but those options were never offered. I am a little disappointed and I will get the oil changed some where else. But I will try again in the future to see if anything will change. More
I can't believe they treat customers like this On February 24 my husband and I drove to Hickory Nc (Hendrick Honda hickory) from Summerville Sc (4 hours) after numerous calls & research on a vehicl On February 24 my husband and I drove to Hickory Nc (Hendrick Honda hickory) from Summerville Sc (4 hours) after numerous calls & research on a vehicle we had been looking for. We loved the van, traded in a newer car for the one we purchased and wrapped up paper work. Shortly after heading home we noticed that once you hit certain speeds the van would clunk. Not knowing what this could be we called the dealership the next day and they said if the problem got worse to call them back. Well come to find out that was their way of brushing off a major problem. After having the van for not even 2 months the transmission goes out completely, leaving me and my 4 children in the middle of a busy intersection and highway. Now let me remind you that this van has a Cvt transmission and we were quoted about $5500 to fix it. We were given a 3 month or 3000 mile warranty and when it finally went out we were 172 miles over the 3000 mike mark, so of course they said there was nothing they could or would do. I reached out to dealership (starting 2/25/18, a few times in between and then May 3,2018) and that’s when I got the run around. From them having me call about goodwills, to calling Nissan to see if they would help( even though it was bought at a Honda dealership), to hearing we will have to get back with you like a million times, to just not caring. That’s when I call corporate(5/14/18) and I get the run around with Alexis. She talked to Rob, Mark and even the NEW General manager David Lusk at the dealership, who all seem like they didn’t care. After getting no where with them I asked Alexis for someone higher up, with an attitude she gives me Chris Hubbard’s number who is above her(5/21/18) . After numerous calls and back and forth we got no where. Then they decided the dealership could do $500 towards repairs and corporate could do $500- so $1000 total. I told them I would talk it over with my husband but I just would figure they would do more knowing they knew about this-after all it did have 3 10 point inspections (or so they said) before it was sold to us. After being frustrated and wanting to give up, I received a call (5/22/18) from Chris who said they decided we could take it to a smaller transmission shop and we wouldn’t have to worry about little or no costs. Finally thinking we were getting somewhere and he calls back stating he didn’t know it was a cvt transmission and that it was so costly, so back to square one. Here we are May 29 and already a month and a few weeks without my van. It’s frustrating to say the least and I want people to know how they treat customers who work hard and have children. I have every call noted with date and times and what each conversation was about. I was even told the finance guy who helped with the sale no longer worked there, but guess what, that was a lie too because I spoke with him tonight to see what he could possibly help with because he’s a family man and totally understands that $5500-$6000 just isn’t going to come from a tree. More

I didn't have to haggle, argue or fight to get the best deal possible. He gave me an amazing trade-in value, the best interest rate and got my payments to fit my budget. I have warranty and two years of oil changes to go with it! To say Nathan takes care of his customers is an understatement. This man's integrity and honesty are rare traits and I would recommend him and his dealership to anyone. I absolutely love my 2015 Honda CR-V. He drove it to my house and we did all the paper work at my kitchen table. I never had to even step on the showroom floor. And best of all, it's CAROLINA BLUE! Nathan, you have no idea how much you've blessed me. I know God will richly continue to bless you and your family, both at home and your family at Hendrick Honda. I am so proud of how hard you've worked to get where you are. Keep moving up, my friend! More

I then worked with Joey and he sent me home with the car so I didn't feel on the spot with my decision. They have made my car buying experience enjoyable and stress free. The absolute best atmosphere, all smiles and laughs. Never once did I feel pressured to buy the car. I will always purchase from Hendrick Honda Hickory from now on. Thank you all so much!!!!!! He sent over a credit application via email and I filled it out on my iPad and sent it back. We FaceTimed all of the options and I chose which one was best for me and then today Kedron DELIVERED my car 4 and a half hours away to my DRIVEWAY. I never had to step foot into the dealership and it was awesome! I’ve purchased a few cars over my 12 years of driving and none of them have been this easy and convenient. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I wanted in my new 2018 Honda Accord sport. Talk about excellent customer service! I’ll never purchase a car from anywhere else other than Hendrick and will always go through Nathan and Kedron! #DreamTeam Thank y’all again so much for everything. One happy customer here 😆 More

Poor customer services,take your money before u see the car. When I first arrived at the dealership Dean was the first person I encounter.I had pulled up three vehicles that I wanted to see. I proceeded with the process whit the down payment and the vehicle was not even at the dealership. I had driven all the way from Charlotte NC . Well I was told to come back the next day for the vehicle. The next day after arriving to the dealership they had pulled the BMWX1 for me to take home after signing the paper work and driving home .I realized that this car was way too small for my family. I was giving the the paper work without the finance company name or where to send my payments to. After putting insurance on the car was when I found out who the finance company was. I notified them of my dissatisfaction of the car. And I was to to contact the dealership which I did. And that's when I got a call from Grace Lawrence and she told me that I was not getting my money back and i had to keep the car. Which I only had for four days.Even though it is a North Carolina law that states you can return the car within 5 to 7 days if you decided to change your mind. Grace called me and said that she talked to the finance company and District Mng. and told me to come on up to switch out the car. But when I got there she wanted me to log into my bank account on her computer so she can verify my direct deposit. Because the finance company was having a problem with my pay stub. When I spoke to the finance company they said no such of thing. Grace wanted me to pull up my banking information on her computer so she could verify my direct deposit.Which I choose not to log in to her computer with my banking info. I told grace that if the finance company would like to see it I will produce it to them but not you. I then asked her for my check stub back and she did not want to give it back to me. She called my employer to ask why no taxes was taken out of my pay stub. I explain to her that I filed exempt and she was not having it . I then asked her well how am I supposed to get home I thought I was switching the car out she told me to call uber or a taxi. The customer services at this dealership is very very very poor. And I am not finished with Ms. Grace Lawrence. The Dept. Of Labor and the Better Business Bureau will be called also.So I hope this will help anyone who is considering on purchasing a car from Hendrick Honda Of Hickory. More
