Started my vacation on Sunday and noticed “check engine” light was on so I brought it in Monday morning. Got a call back later that afternoon saying they’re stumped on what was causing the misfiring of pist light was on so I brought it in Monday morning. Got a call back later that afternoon saying they’re stumped on what was causing the misfiring of pistons and was told they needed to start fresh on Tuesday while engine was cool. They called back on Tuesday saying it was the injectors that needed replacing. I agreed to get it fixed. They called back Wednesday and said it wasn’t the injectors it was the timing belt. They said they had the part in stock and would have the car back to me by the end of the day. They called back at the end of the day to tell me the part needed to be ordered and would get there by 1-2 pm the next day. I called Thursday morning to confirm that I would get my car back that day ( I’m still on vacation without a vehicle) I was told the part would be delivered by 9 am and they would call me to confirm it was shipped. I never got a call until early that afternoon that my car was ready. By the time I received the voice mail it was later that afternoon and couldn’t get a ride to get my car until Friday morning. I understand it’s hard to get parts these days but the real issue wasn’t diagnosed until Wednesday after having it 2 days. I would think it would of taken a lot quicker to have a car repaired. More
