EDIT: I received a call from Jerry Deemer today, service manager I believe he said. He was correct in saying I should have escalated my concerns up the ladder at the time of my discontent for resolution. I manager I believe he said. I expressed myself to the point of contact at the time and never pursued it further. He was very apologetic for the level of service I received and I do believe it could have been resolved at the time had I pushed it. He has since made it right with me and I am a happy customer for the call and actions that happened today! In the future there may be another purchase from Hendrick Chevrolet. I am so unhappy with Hendrick Chevrolet. I purchased a 2019 Traverse in 2019 and from the day I bought it I have been unhappy with them. I had an appointment to sign the paperwork, sat for two hours until it was ready to be signed. Went to pick the car up and it had not been cleaned or gassed up. All of the stickers still on the car and I was headed out of town. Fast forward to last week. My car starts making a squeaking noise at 37k miles. I take it in on Saturday, they call and tell me something on the exhaust broke and the very expensive Gold Package extended warranty did not cover it. So it'll be around $950. I'm pissed, but it's got to be fixed, so ok. They say the part will be in Monday, ok, cool. Monday comes and goes, no call, so I call them. Oh we got the wrong part they say. Ok, soo tomorrow then. Tuesday comes and goes, no call. So I call them. Of course they are working on it right now. Finally Wednesday morning comes and they finally call and it's fixed. Get the car and bill, over $600 they charged me for labor. Are you kidding me?!?! I left their lot and went straight to Long Lewis Ford and traded the car for a new Explorer. Never again will I use Hendrick for anything! More

My wife and I really do appreciate Service Advisor- Mr. Mark Sullivan. He was kind, courteous and most importantly very professional. We came into the shop on Saturday November 7th @ 8 am to get Mark Sullivan. He was kind, courteous and most importantly very professional. We came into the shop on Saturday November 7th @ 8 am to get our 2006 Chevrolet HHR diagnosed and he immediately let us what was wrong and he ordered the part and told us to come back on Monday after we got off work. After we came on Monday, instead of letting us wait all day in the lobby, Mark told us that the wrong part had came in and ask us politely could we come back on Tuesday. He knew our time was valuable and he in turn acknowledged it. I called on Tuesday and Mark said the part didn’t come in and said “ Let’s try tomorrow ( Wednesday November 11th) so that we wouldn’t waste our time coming down there. Mark even checked “ every 45 minutes “ to see if the part was in. Finally today ( Wednesday November 11th ) it came in and he called to let us know. He really took care of us and treated us fair. I would recommend anyone to com to Mr. Mark Sullivan. Please keep up the good work and may you bring “ satisfaction “ to other customers too. More
I just moved to Birmingham 2 months ago and started having car issues. I called the service center and Britney Rawls was so helpful. She got me right in. The service center was awesome as were all the people working in there. They worked with my extended warranty company and ensured they addressed all my issues. Additionally, they worked with me to talk me through the maintanence that was needed on my vehicle- even walked me through the Valvoline program (thank you Nate). I cannot say enough good things about the service department and the customer service as a whole. Britney Rawls went above and beyond and was amazing! She is one of the best employees I have ever engaged with at a dealership EVER. I will use Hendrick in the future and will buy my next car from there just because of the service department!!!! More

My engine gave o I wanted to take this time to recognize Mark Sullivan (Service Advisor) at Hendrick Chevrolet located in Hoover, Al. My engine gave out in my Chevy Silverado on I-65 at exit 228 Sunday afternoon (9-20-2020) at 3pm. Therefore my truck was towed to this dealership. The fact that I live in Leesburg, Ga. almost 4 hours south from this location, left me in a very vulnerable situation as you can imagine, heck I’ve never even been to Hoover in my life. I just knew in my gut this was going to be a bad experience; I was going to get the run around trying to get a new engine installed and get my truck back home. To my surprise at 7:05am Monday morning, Mark Sullivan called and got the ball rolling by contacting my extended warranty company and following their requirements for teardown, taking photos and calling in the inspector to validate the claim. After dealing with Mark the first day my anxiety greatly reduced due to the fact he was acting fast, answered every call promptly or returned quickly and he knew the procedures for handling the warranty claims. This great act of service went on for the entire time my truck was in for service, I was never left in the dark! When I came to the dealership on 9-30-2020 to pick up my truck, I was very pleased with everything that has been done in a very short amount of time. Bravo to Mark and the service technician that worked on my truck for a job well done. Please pass my appreciation to everyone involved! More
The service department is terrible. I took my car in for service, and they damaged my car. I noticed a big dent and scratch when I picked my car up, and I immediately pointed it out to them. The service department receives 1 star only because there are no negative stars. My issue has consistently been a problem for 7 months with no end in sight regarding a faulty turbo boost. I have literally taken my vehicle 7 times to the service department to fix then, as soon as it's "fixed" the check engine light immediately comes on reporting the same issue. They have replaced the turbo, allegedly, only for the same issue to return within either a few weeks, days or sadly minutes of leaving the dealership. This last time my car was fixed the check engine light came on before we got the car home. The next morning we took it back for them to fix and Hendricks still has it. The car isnt fixed and it's been a month. I've paid a car note on a car I haven't driven since the end of June and today is August 1st. In actuality, I haven't consistently driven since March. As of this writing my car was supposedly in the bay because a part had to be ordered, yet again. My husband and I were advised on Wednesday that the car was being worked on and they would follow up. Thursday comes and goes. On Friday my husband calls not only has my car not been worked on yet but they would try to get it done within the next few days. It's been 7 months and I'm not dealing with another month of this. I'm paying for a car that I can't drive but on the "bright side" I can trade my crap Chevy that Chevy can't fix for a brand new crap Chevy that they won't be able to fix. Thanks but no thanks. Every Chevrolet has been dreadful and dealing with this unprofessional, inept service department is the icing on the cake. I can't understand how such a huge dealership can operate with a service department that is incapable of servicing the vehicles they should be specialized in servicing. This needs to be corrected and rectified immediately. More
