I have been a loyal customer of the service department in Hoover for ten years, and they have received all of my business and I’ve never had an issue before now. I took my 2009 Silverado in for service 2/09/ Hoover for ten years, and they have received all of my business and I’ve never had an issue before now. I took my 2009 Silverado in for service 2/09/22 and was told I needed an engine, and because of supply chain issues an engine would be slow to get. I didn’t want to buy a vehicle so I agreed. I ask if they could provide a loaner vehicle during my waiting; my service provider informed me that there were no loaners available, but that she could get me a rental through Enterprise and that they(by my understanding)(Hendricks) would pay a portion of the rental. I checked every Friday to see if a motor had been located and if I needed to turn the car back to Enterprise. I also checked with Enterprise to verify the agreement with Hendricks was still valid. The day that I rented the car I was told what size car that I was to get per their (Hendricks) agreement. After the month and a half long period I returned the car-paid-according to Enterprise my portion of the remaining balance. I went back to Hendricks having received a call notifying me that my truck was ready now 04/05/22 and got my truck. Forward fast two months and my credit card is hit with all the charges from Enterprise that were supposedly paid(to my understanding)by Hendricks. Spoke with my service provider and she said she was unsure and that she would check with accounting and get back to me…no call-I went to see her face to face and she takes my address and info, promise to send it upstream and that was in July no further response…lessons learned. Everything in writing from this group from now on. More
