Buying a car is never the best of times, the current situation with covid 19 make sit even worse. Fortunately I found Hendrick Chevrolet! While many closed or were inadequately staffed to handle our req situation with covid 19 make sit even worse. Fortunately I found Hendrick Chevrolet! While many closed or were inadequately staffed to handle our request the folks at Hendrick were responsive and happy to see us when we came in. Not only were they doing business as normal they had protections for those that were concerned about covid 19 yet had to buy because of necessity. That fit us to a T, car was dead and we had to be able to get to work! Friendly staff all wore masks and had some available for us. We found our car and could not have been happier with everything. Do yourself a favor and go see Stan, there is a reason people keep going back to see him and refer all their friends. Thank You! More
On 27 July 2020 at 1pm I drove into the service bay because I had a scheduled oil change and brake inspection for my 2017 Tahoe LT. After sitting in my vehicle for a full five minutes, no one had yet because I had a scheduled oil change and brake inspection for my 2017 Tahoe LT. After sitting in my vehicle for a full five minutes, no one had yet approached me. I exited my vehicle and went inside to the service desk to let them know I was there for a scheduled oil change. One of the six or seven people I saw in there said, “Someone will be with you in a minute sir”. I went back to my vehicle and waited another five minutes while watching these guys visit with each other through the glass. Then I decided to leave. When I arrived back home, I decided to call and give the service manager a description of my experience. I was told he was at lunch and that he would call me back. I didn’t receive a call back from him but did receive a call back from Devon. Devon said he was sorry to hear about my experience and offered to give me a free oil change. I appreciated this effort on Devon’s part but decided there was another disturbing aspect to my experience. While sitting in my vehicle, I watched as a porter entered another customer’s vehicle to drive it back to the service area after the customer departed. This porter wasn’t wearing a mask and there’s a coronavirus pandemic going on. I understand there’s two camps surrounding this subject, one camp that believes this virus poses no problem, and so face masks aren’t necessary, and the other camp that believes the CDC that this virus is very dangerous and everyone should be wearing a face mask. This porter who entered that customer’s vehicle without wearing a mask, demonstrated to me that this service facility is not following any safety guidelines during this unfortunate pandemic. So, when they tell you on the phone, when scheduling your appointment, that everyone is wearing a mask when entering your vehicle - It simply isn’t true and don’t believe it no matter what bs your told. I fully expect them to deny this. I saw them do this with my own eyes right in front of me. If you care about your loved ones and exposure to this horrific virus, you need to avoid this dealership. They of course have the right to believe what they want - This is America after all. But are you really willing to take that chance? I’m not. More
This year Hendricks has failed me in every way possible from the service center to the body and even the sales floor I would definitely recommend that you go anywhere else. Originally my truck went there for insurance claim after it was stolen. While there I’d get alerts from my CHEVROLET app that tires were going low that weren’t even suppose to be touched.... later found out they replaced the wrong tire, the next day get another alert of course it’s the wrong tire so I call and let them know and they said surely it’s not the same thing I get a call the next day. It sure was the wrong tire again. To make things right the rep I was working with had them just replace the remaining two tires.... but then body work was really shotty the paint on all my doors is wavy, the “new” fender had a dent in it still along with the “new” rear bumper. This is after them having the truck for 35 days approximately, I quite counting after 30. So to get the repairs done under their warranty have been a hassle it took 4 months just to get another appointment cause the would avoid my call or say they’d call back and I’d be patient for a couple weeks till I called them. However once i got an appointment I was told he had to pay for the tires out of his pocket and I couldn’t get a courtesy car or rental cause they were making him pay for it out of his pocket. I don’t know if any of this is true cause I wasn’t there for that conversation. Almost 5 months later got an appointment but was thinking about trading it in for a new vehicle cause frankly I’m ashamed to drive it looking the way it does. Talked to a guy for two weeks about what I was wanting cause the one I liked sold before I got up there. I made an appointment one evening after being called 5 times to see if I was going to make it, and during these calls confirming there was a truck there I was interested in. After I arrive he wasn’t available and I was deferred to someone else then I was told the vehicle I was suppose to see want there and they were trying to sale me a higher model the high country I already told them on the phone was out of my price range it seems they have no respect over there for the request for their customers or their employees if they really are forcing them to pay for mistakes out of their pocket instead of going to the customer to try to make it right. I really do like their vehicle selection but after this I will not be going there or mention names in case there I retribution from management who probably is behind the problem to begin with More
