I came into contact with Eric through my USAA Car Buying Program. He received the alert, called me quickly thereafter, and told me how they would price the deal, no surprises. A pleasant experience was all that I needed to feel good about my purchase of a 2012 GMC Accadia Denali. Eric honored the deal from 24 hours earlier. Even the lateness of the hour on December 31 didn't keep him from installing the navigation DVD and reviewing the vehicle in detail to familiarize myself with all of the new features. Also, as part fo the deal above, I traded an 11.5 year vehicle toward the purchase. Eric and his team at Hendricks made it seem easy, fair and reasonable. I'm glad to have found Eric and will buy from him again. More
From the time we entered the dealership, everyone was friendly and warm. We visited the dealership to drive a '12 LaCrosse and worked with Vu Vo. Vu went with us to test drive the car. He took the time to review the various aspects of the car and answer any questions. He was always friendly but never pushy which I really appreciated. After our drive, we went back to the dealership to talk about price. Vu worked through all the preliminaries to come up with a price for our tradein which we found very fair and a price for the new car. We quickly found a bottom line that worked for us both. Once we arrived at a price, we were sent to Michael Peak's office to sign all the paperwork. Michael was also very warm, friendly and professional. While all the paperwork was being done, the new LaCrosse was being readied for us to take home. Unfortunately a problem showed up. Vu was most embarrassed that something was wrong with the car we had planned to buy. He apologized profusely as well as his boss, Geoff Edwards. However, they offered to fix the vehicle or find us a new one. We decided to have the dealership find us a new one. They gave us a vehicle to drive home and the next day Vu brought us our new car. He went over all the new paperwork and then spent all the time we needed going over the bells and whistles in the new car - and there are a lot. The whole experience was a positive one - even when there was something wrong with the new car. The dealership was totally responsive to the situation and worked to make everything right for us. This car buying experience was the least stressful we've ever had and we would recommend both the dealership and especially Vu Vo as a salesman. We are planning to purchase a second vehicle sometime in the near future and will be back in touch wih Vu when the time comes. All phases, towing, diagnosis and fixing the problem in record time to meet "OUR" schedule. The Enclave is gorgeous and a pleasure to drive, we're so happy we picked Buick. From the moment we walked into the dealership, we were treated warmly and with respect which added to our car-buying experience. Vu Vo took us on a test drive and spent time showing us the car from top to bottom. He was straight forward with his answers and didn't try to strong arm us into buying, which we both appreciated very much. When we sat down to start the buying process, Vu took great care of us, he never rushed us. He went over all the details carefully until we were satisfied. Once we finished the financial part with Vu, he had Paul take us to our car and we spent a lot of time going over every button and gizmo. He took us through all the navigation screens, spoke with us about OnStar and XM radio and patiently answered all our questions, even when we had to have him repeat an instruction. A few days later we had the car care work done to protect our seats and the exterior paint job, and Paul took great care of me. The moment I arrived I was waved into the service area and Paul got me a loaner so I wouldn't have to wait there for the 3-4 hours. After going through the car with Paul, we sat down with Michael Peaks to finalize the numbers and go over the extended warranty packages. Mike was fun, engaging, and very thorough in describing all the options available. He was patient while we took the time we needed, and even had a good sense of humor when we kicked him out of his office to talk about what we wanted to do. He was a real pleasure to work with, and took some of the sting out of paying for the car. Which is incredible considering how much money we spent in one day! Aaack! Bottom line, we are thrilled with all of the people involved with our Enclave purchase and will not only recommend Hendrick Durham to our friends, we'll be back when it's time to buy another car.
