Buying a car can be very difficult. Often salesmen will pressure you as soon as you enter the store which makes me turn around and leave quickly. I replied to an offer that Hendrickson sent me. I am so g pressure you as soon as you enter the store which makes me turn around and leave quickly. I replied to an offer that Hendrickson sent me. I am so glad that I did. I love my new Encore! It is great and fun to drive! Mr. Norris made certain that I was comfortable and provided me all of the information that I needed to make an intelligent decision. there was plenty of time, because everyone in the dealership made me at ease and respected me. He is an asset to your company. Ms. Kelly Poole was very nice to meet, also. Thank you so much Kathleen Breland More

We were extremely pleased with the service at Hendrick Durham Auto Mall. We tested several vehicles (Buick and GMC) and found the sales team to be extremely knowledgeable and patient in responding to our Durham Auto Mall. We tested several vehicles (Buick and GMC) and found the sales team to be extremely knowledgeable and patient in responding to our many questions about safety, gas mileage, amenities, financing, and other related topics. They were prompt in following up with us and worked tirelessly to ensure we could find a car in our price range and with the desired amenities. Nonetheless, they were not pushy or aggressive at all, which we appreciated. We would definitely buy another car from Hendrick and recommend them to others. More
I want to first say that my experience dealing with Mr. Sean Strickland was completely satisfying. We looked at several cars (GMC Terrain, Buick Encore, and Cadillac Crossover) on the lot and he was extre Sean Strickland was completely satisfying. We looked at several cars (GMC Terrain, Buick Encore, and Cadillac Crossover) on the lot and he was extremely knowledgeable on each model. He wasn't pushy, sarcastic, or demanding. He made us feel like we were dealing with a close friend. I know that is his job but he was courteous and professional without making us feel like he was just wanting us to make a purchase, so that he could move on to the next commission. Buying a car is a big deal whether you're financially well off or not. How you're treated means a lot regardless of the profession. I gave a "4 in the "Overall Experience because" there were some areas of the process that I didn't feel were completely candid. I could be wrong but It's how I honestly feel. In regard to the negations process, I didn't feel things were being presented in a manner that were beneficial to me. I was asked what type of car(s) we had at home? What difference did that make, if I hadn't plan to use it as a trade-in. I felt like that was being used to determine how much I could afford, which should be determined by my financial income, debt, and credit rating. Even those areas are often used against certain consumers in instances where qualified consumers are turned down from making a purchase or coerced in making a purchase of a lessor value than what they actually want or can afford. Here is my view of the situation. I now have a loan for a term of 84 months at 4.75%. My credit is exceptional (+/- 800) and I've been working for the State of NC for approx. 22 years and NCSU for 4 years. By Nov. 17, 2013, it'll be 23 years and 5 at the University. I own a home and the only dept. I had at the actual date of my purchase of the Terrain was our home of 7 years (Positive debt). I let my desire of owning a new car get the best of me because I should've walked away from the last offer. The monthly payment doesn't bother me but the term of 84 months does. I should have be able to purchase any vehicle within the price range of my existing loan within a 5 year or 6 year term. My credit is too strong and job stability should have been a definite plus in getting me the term and lower rate in a range that I was expecting. I researched the GMC website often before coming to the Hendricks's dealership and one of the things offered was GMC Financing at 1.9% for qualified buyers. That wasn't even discussed with me. So I have a little bitter taste in my mouth over that. That is my fault for not walking away from the terms offered but I feel that it should've been discussed. If I didn't qualify, then so be it but I know better than that. It appears to me that I offered more than what Hendricks's offered me. I even put down $2K. I'm just not seeing the benefit especially when you know that the down payment only brings the monthly payment down $10 per thousand, maybe. My financial status should have got me in the area I wanted without the term of the loan being extended. Once again I enjoyed my experience with Mr. Sean Strickland and I was treated with great respect by everyone at the dealership. I also understand that you're in the business of making money, so I wasn't expecting to get the car for free. Hind site is 20/20 and I honestly believe my terms should've been lower. I do realize the car was knew (5 miles on it) and possess several up grades but the financial side of the process leaves me with after thoughts. Sincerely, Robert H. Mathes, Jr. More

At 66, with over 50 new purchases of cars and trucks for personal and business use, I have more than adequate experience to know what is first class service. I would rank this experience as significantly b personal and business use, I have more than adequate experience to know what is first class service. I would rank this experience as significantly better than I would have normally expected from a dealer. If one could give a dealer a score of 11, on a 10 point scale, I would do so for these guys.
