My car buying experience was AMAZING thanks to this dealership. I had to been to other dealerships and it was no where near as great as this place. JB took his time to show me everything on the car and dealership. I had to been to other dealerships and it was no where near as great as this place. JB took his time to show me everything on the car and explain how everything works. He was very patient and caring. He also helped me program my phone and seats. What really impressed me was when even after the sale he took the time to program my doors so that all doors doesn't unlock when I hit unlock so that I am safe and no one trys to jumps in the car with me. I own an Acura TLX. My son accidently pulled out of the garage using the backup camera instead of looking through the side view mirror, hence he damaged the mirror. I had done thorough research to see what the damage was and an estimate of the costs. I might add, paying is not an issue. I made an appointment and brought my car in for the MIRROR. I was greeted by Bret Rise. He was not friendly but he was okay. I felt he was a bit dismissive, but hey I charged it to being busy. He looked at what was wrong with the mirror casing said a few words, told me about snacks and water, and I was told to wait in the waiting room. I did just that. After about 1.5 hrs. I was called in; by called in I mean waived in. The service guy told me the price by showing me the paper. I asked one simple question regarding the price and having to replace the entire mirror. He told me " I could take it someplace else for another quote, they are the professionals, he can order the part but it will take a week. He was the rudest encounter I had in a very long time. He said he/they are the professionals this fell way short of professional. I took a deep breath and told him I was ready to go. He told me to wait because the car need to be brought around. He also told me I needed air and cabin filters. I didn't mention that this car has 15k miles on it. Why, if I brought the car in for mirror exam are you looking at the cabin. Maybe that's practice. What I do know is I am a black woman, Bret Rise is a white man. Was this about race? I don't know, but what I do know is he was deliberately rude to me from the moment I walked in. Like I said I thought it was a busy day, but now I know better. The exchange ended by Bret giving me a condescending "Thank You" I buy cars based on service and delivery of service. I regret buying this Acura and will get out of it this summer. There are plenty of Acura dealerships across the state, if you're interested in an Acura I would urge you to go elsewhere. More
