I would not recommend I am single parent of 3 kids I live in Jacksonville fl I purchased this Nissan Sentra specifically from this dealership bc I was assured that they would deliver the car to me at the las in Jacksonville fl I purchased this Nissan Sentra specifically from this dealership bc I was assured that they would deliver the car to me at the last minute Steven told me his Gm changed his mind & did not want to do an out of state delivery bc it was approaching the end of the year & the Gm wanted to keep the books clean. So I drove the 7 hours to pick up the car (the gas was reimbursed )but I had to purchase a hotel as well because it was too far to turn around & drive right back Florida. Went & through all of the paperwork with Steven as well as the business manager this is my 1st time financing a car so I did not know what I should’ve been looking for instead I trusted that Hendricks Acura had all the documents & prices in order which I signed & drove the car home. I received some paperwork via UPS a couple weeks later to sign to get the tag here in Jacksonville fl so that I’m under the impression the tag would be mailed as well in a couple weeks as I was told it would be. A month later Steven text me saying oh the business manger said they did not collect the correct registration fees for fl & you need to pay $509 do you want to put it on a credit card so you can get your tag. I’m flabbergasted the taxes & registration fees were supposed to be included in the loan/purchase. A whole month has passed & no one said anything & it is now the tag is expired & it’s time to pay the car note. No one reached out & apologized & said we made a big mistake not sure how this happened it was a error on our end where we forgot to include the correct Florida registration fees in the purchase price/loan & are willing to work this out. Steven reached out via text once did not apologize for the error but just demanded I give him a credit card # to pay for their mistake. I replied back that this was a colossal mistake on Hendrick Acura end I am a single mother of 3 kids & budgeted & saved every penny for the down payment & now a month later it’s time to pay the car note & Hendricks Acura do not care nor did they acknowledged their mistake & I haven’t heard anything back from Steven after I told him I did not have an additional $509 to pay because the car note is due this month. This is a dealership that do not care because this did not happen to them so it’s not their problem & they know without that I cannot get the tag for the car. So if you are out of state I would recommend you deal with ur local dealership to avoid unnecessary headaches & additional money out your pocket. I am very disappointed with how this was handled by the dealership & would not recommend More
We are very pleased with this dealership. Gerard, our sales rep, was easy going and very helpful with the purchase of the MDX. The service department is exceptional. John Ray was the service adviser who took care of the problem with the rear view mirror. Christy was the service advisor who took care of the tire that had a bolt in it. My wife brought the car in. She had our rescue with her as he could not be left alone at the house. Christy was great and made my wife and dog feel welcomed and comfortable. My wife was very pleased with both visits.
