Dealership wouldn't honor their advertised price. I have been searching for the 2023 Ioniq 5 SEL RWD. I searched through Driveway.com and found the vehicle I wanted for a good deal from Driveway I have been searching for the 2023 Ioniq 5 SEL RWD. I searched through Driveway.com and found the vehicle I wanted for a good deal from Driveway through Henderson Hyundai, about a 4-hour drive from my house but vehicle would be delivered. I submitted a downpayment and all the requested paperwork and wanted to change from purchase to lease but was told no problem. After a few days of back-and-forth messages with Driveway, I was told the advertised price through Driveway / Henderson Hyundai was an error and the dealership wouldn't honor the price. The deal was good but was not obviously a mistake. They had several vehicles with the same discount and they were listed at those prices on the driveway site for well over a week. I purchased another vehicle through Lithia (parent company to Driveway) before and it went through exactly as advertised without any problems so I assumed the transaction with Driveway would be similar. Supposedly Driveway owns or is in partnership with dealers so they should be able to exert some pressure on the dealer to honor their price but was told they dealership controls pricing and decided not to sell me the vehicle. Service at Henderson Hyundai is very poor. Josh has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He never called back on the time he promised and never answered any calls . We approached service advisor Bennie Pacheco, but he did not do anything and did not care. Looks like bad customer service is already normal for them. Really, really worst customer service ever! I have been driving Luxury cars most of my life. I have this Hyundai car for regular purposes. I made an appointment for the first time as my car was sitting in my car garage for a while because no I have this Hyundai car for regular purposes. I made an appointment for the first time as my car was sitting in my car garage for a while because no one drives it. Josh was my advisor. I was promised a loner car. I have never had such a bad experience where the customer service was so poor. upon my arrival to the dealership, Josh was blunt stating he did not have the loner car. There was no apologetic or humble attitude. I am a doctor. I got surprised as I had to call Uber that took about 20 minutes to arrive. I was delayed where I was supposed to be because of this carelessness and the adviser who promised the loner car but did not arrange it. Had he told me upfront, I could have my ride arranged. Furthermore, Josh left that evening without calling me if the car was ready for pickup. Is that a great service? More
Josh was an excellent representative of your dealership; followed up with us when parts were not available. Told us when parts were in and setup a date for the repairs.
