I cant imagine how they screw you on service, except the other posters tell how they screw your car up purposefully. Buy a Honda or Toyota, ford fusion instead, This dealer sucks and there cars have no power when new bland styling. And they actual stal things from your trade in while you are test driving or sitting inside. Stay away. More
I called regarding my 5 speed manual Elantra and was told that the repairs would be all under warranty so I made an appointment. Drooped off my car and was called later to be told that the repairs would cos that the repairs would be all under warranty so I made an appointment. Drooped off my car and was called later to be told that the repairs would cost $999 'out the door including labor'. Purrfect Auto on N Valle Verde did the work for half the price and did a great job too. They showed me the clutch and it had been tampered with. They thought I had done it but only person under my car was Henderson Hyundai. Of course they deny tampering with my clutch but who else would've done it? I like Hyundai's and this dealership is close by. I had considered going here for my next vehicle but after the way I was treated, handled and taken advantage of I would never go back. I should have read the reviews first but always like to give people benefit of the doubt first. I will never return to Henderson Hyundai and neither should you!!! More
I was raised by a car salesman so I know how it is but, this guy who is in Finance was the worst person I have ever dealt with in a car dealership at all. Originally my brother was going to help our father this guy who is in Finance was the worst person I have ever dealt with in a car dealership at all. Originally my brother was going to help our father get a car and put it in his name. When he didn't get approved the finance guy asked if there was anyone that could co-sign. So I agreed to let them run my credit. Then they told us what a great deal they could get with us both on it and we agreed. Now previously my brother had already signed all the paperwork so when we went in together we thought that we would both have to sign all the new papers. Well they had me sign everything and we asked him what my brother had to sign and he claimed it was nothing because he already signed the other stuff and they would put it all together. Well come to find out the loan is in my name only and my brother has nothing to do with it. I have NEVER met a bigger liar in my life and he was just so arrogant to top it all off. Do no go here EVER! More
We believe we were sold a lemon back in 2003. We have our Sante Fe at Henderson Hyundai at least once a month. We need new brakes every year at 11-12 months. Just about every seal in our car has had to b our Sante Fe at Henderson Hyundai at least once a month. We need new brakes every year at 11-12 months. Just about every seal in our car has had to be done at least once, some 4 and 5 times. I have had my motor mounts replaced all the belts had to be replaced. I am always at there shop I know the "ride home" driver by his first name. This is sad. And Hyundai Corp, they want nothing to do with it! Some fuse shorted out my battery and radio and I had to pay for everything! How do they stay in business? More
I am totally disappointed in my experience with Henderson Hyundai. I went to the dealership on 3/15/08. After looking, I decided to buy a 2006 Elantra that had 28,000+ miles on it. I traded in a 2000 Hond Hyundai. I went to the dealership on 3/15/08. After looking, I decided to buy a 2006 Elantra that had 28,000+ miles on it. I traded in a 2000 Honda CRV. During my conversation with the salesperson, I stressed the need for reliability and dependability and price. He assured me that I would be satisfied. I put $1000 and got $4232 for my trade. The original price of the Elantra was $10,995. My loan ended up being for $11,000+ with monthly payments of $208. My requirement was that the payment had to be under $200 before the cost of gap insurance. In the next 9 days, I was at the dealership 3 times with the same problem - shaking after 50 mph. They said it was fixed twice. The third time they said they needed to order a part - axle and I would have to return, again. On the 11th day, I called the salesperson (who I had been dealing with during this entire time) and expressed my concerns about the reliability. He assured me that he would put me in a car that would meet my needs. Little did I know that I would get screwed in the process. I chose the most inexpensive new vehicle they had, which I liked. To get the car, they said I would need to put down another $1000 and my payments would be $389+ and I was responsible for the $3000 upside amount of the old vehicle. I was flabbergasted! That was ridiculous and I conveyed exactly that. In the end, the final offer was no down payment, gap insurance and a payment of $350+ -- $142 more than I wanted to pay. They said they made me such a 'good' deal because of the 'circumstances'. I was stuck. They had my old vehicle, my $1000 down payment from the original puchase and I had a lemon. I took the deal. When researching on my recourse, I couldn't find any. I'm just hoping that many people read this because Henderson Hyundai is not an honest, up-front dealership. More
Buying my car from this dealership was horrible. I had spent several months looking for a car. When I saw the one I wanted at a good price on line I went in with the ad printed out. The salesman kept offe spent several months looking for a car. When I saw the one I wanted at a good price on line I went in with the ad printed out. The salesman kept offering me the car for several thousand dollars more than it had been advertised for (exact same car matching Vin# ect.), the sales man kept trying to talk to my boyfriend who repeatedly told him it wasn't his money that I was making the purchase, during the part of the sale where you discuss your job and income the sales man told me he thought I was making up how much money I make. If I hadn't really wanted that particular car I would have done anything to get out of there. After I bought the car 2 days later they called me back into the dealership and raised my monthly payment by $58 per month. This dealership left such a bad taste in my mouth I never returned to it for service on my vehicle opting instead to drive across town to a different dealership. HORRIBLE experience. More
They played a shell game with me when it came to giving me a trade-in value. They offered me Kelly low-blue book on my trade-in which would have paid off my loan. They never said the used car manager was me a trade-in value. They offered me Kelly low-blue book on my trade-in which would have paid off my loan. They never said the used car manager was really offering me an amount that was $2200 less. They packed the $2200 in 'negative equity' onto the sales price of the new vehicle. Only later in reviewing the contract, did I realize I'd been had! I figured these guys were offering me a fair trade and so I relaxed in putting the deal together. I accepted a payment at longer terms than I really wanted. If they had told me up front that my trade-in was 'soft' in the market and that they needed to buy it $2200 under low book, I would have walked. Later everyone, including the General Manager, insisted that there was nothing unethical about the way they handled this. The entire presentation of terms seemed to me to be very carefully worded to prevent me, the customer, from getting upset at what they were willing to allow me on my trade-in. Later, I realized that they never called it the 'trade-in' value, only the 'pay-off' amount. They slickered me and when I went back to see what they would do to make it right, they told me to take a hike. It's system houses like this that give car dealers a bad name. I wouldn't buy here again, and it's given me such a bad taste, I won't buy another Hyundai! More
Although we did not buy a car from this dealership we would like everyone to know they were the nicest people to deal with. The whole crew are to be commended on their professionalism. When we told them would like everyone to know they were the nicest people to deal with. The whole crew are to be commended on their professionalism. When we told them the vehicle we looked at wasn't what we had in mind they did not go ballistic. Like anyone in this business trying to make a living they suggested alternatives. But when they knew we had our minds made up, they smiled, shook our hands and said maybe some other time. IT WAS A REFRESHING AND PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Obviously we could not rate quality and accuracy of work since we did not purchase. We gave them a 1 but we believe it would have been a 5. These are nice people at Henderson Hyundai. More
Have taken my 2001 Elantra in 3 times for the "engine" light coming on and staying on. It got "fixed" with a new canister close valve twice within 3 months. It's back on again! I've purchased "engine" light coming on and staying on. It got "fixed" with a new canister close valve twice within 3 months. It's back on again! I've purchased an OBDII reader, and this time it's a code 0563 - system voltage high! Plus, on my last visit, I had them do an oil change, and, ONLY when I read the paperwork, I found that supposedly, the "last time" (not at Henderson Hyundai) the oil was changed, the plug was put in too tight, and now I need a new oil pan to permanently keep it from leaking. (again, I found this by reading the paperwork, no one told me about it when I picked up the car!). I think Ben is probably spinning in his grave the way these guys are running his shop! More
