I wanted a new Elantra N so I did some research online through the main Hyundai website. After a few minutes I saw that stock was coming in and was connected to Paul. He answered all my general questions with quick turn around. Finally scheduled my test drive and I Went in to view the vehicle that just recently arrived.. I was greeted and was introduced to Carlos who would be my salesman for the remainder of the day. He answered a lot of great questions and had a lot of knowledge with no pressure to my whole deal all the way through. John in financing was awesome as well. He broke down what was and what wasn’t covered in the warranty’s and explained thoroughly what I would be looking at. Overall it was a great experience to shop at this location. More
We contacted Jamal through DealerRater - he responded quickly. Although we have not purchased a vehicle from him yet due to shortages nationally, he has been a pleasure to interact with. Dante has exceptional customer service skills and is an outstanding salesman. He is respectful,polite attentive and shows he cares about his customers! I've owned quite a few cars and this was by far the most pleasant experience I've had purchasing a vehicle. POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS BEWARE!! I don’t even know where to begin with this dealership. I thought I had an experience with a bad dealership but this one takes the cake. Beyond a few sales representatives, cust begin with this dealership. I thought I had an experience with a bad dealership but this one takes the cake. Beyond a few sales representatives, customer service does not seem to be their priority. Do not trust a word they say – read further and I will explain why. On October 20th, my check engine light came on and (unfortunately) the closest Hyundai dealership was Henderson Hyundai. Prior to taking it in, we had the engine code read and it concerned the waste gate actuator on our turbo. We took it in, and they gave us the usual about having to perform an inspection. Mike (unfortunately) was our service advisor. Mike finally reached out to my husband on October 26th. My husband placed the call on speaker where I could hear (Mike did not know this). Mike stated he would have to order the part and it would need to be replaced. He gave us a quote of $650 with parts and labor. My husband verbally authorized the repair. On October 28th Mike called and stated the repairs had been completed and we could pick up the vehicle. We said great and that we would be in tomorrow. The following day (October 29th), I drove with my husband before work to pick up my vehicle. Lo and behold, the final price of these repairs came to $742.56. When we confronted Mike about this, he stated, “I never said $650, I don’t know where you are getting that number from.” Obviously, this is only a difference of ~$92 (12.46%) more than he quoted; however, the main point we were trying to make with Mike was the principle of the situation. We did not appreciate him insinuating we were liars. He went to speak to the parts manager and acted like he was doing us a favor by discounting the part, lowering the total cost to $692.72 (great but still not $650). This entire time he acted as if there was no way in the world, he could have misquoted us (We obviously had to have misheard him).There is more to this parts story but the long story short is we could have gotten the parts less expensive at another dealership and taken the vehicle there for repairs but for the hassle and for $650 my husband and I agreed to fix it at this dealership. We stopped arguing, paid the money and I went to work. When my husband and I left the dealership, he called Hyundai corporate to discuss this situation. They began the process of assigning a case manager, but it was Friday, and they would most likely reach out early the following week. That same evening (October 29th) the check engine light came back on. I had no interest in taking my vehicle back to a dealership I did not trust and believed us to be liars. The following day I took my vehicle to an auto shop to have them read the engine code. The code was for the same issue. At this point we updated Hyundai corporate about the situation and waited to hear back from them. We had gone back and forth with Hyundai corporate. They finally got back with us today to state that after speaking with this dealership that, “Unfortunately Henderson Hyundai Superstore does not want to work with you as a customer… After Speaking (sic) with Service Advisor Michael who was your representative on this repair would like for me to advise you, if your vehicle is down for the same repair they repaired your (sic) more than welcome to bring your vehicle in for inspection but no additional favors will be done…” I’m assuming this “favor” Mike is referring to is his “favor” of discounting the part down previously. At this point I’m not sure what my decision will be but I’m not entirely sure I can trust them to make this repair because obviously they did not to begin with. I’m putting this review out there in the hopes that even one person will choose a different Hyundai dealership for repairs or purchasing or take their vehicle to a private mechanic that they trust. I have lost all respect for this brand and the people that work at this dealership because not even one person has reached out for resolution which is why I am writing this review. The kicker is they have a convenient sign at service that goes along the lines of, we are short staffed and that customers should be kind to those who showed up. I’m all for doing that as I work in customer service myself; however, being short staffed is not an excuse to provide poor customer service. More

Polite, no pressure, eager, not sitting waiting for customers but out front to greet us. We got the Santa Fe and he went over everything we needed to know. The 100,000/10 yr warranty was a great plus. Anas Ghafoory, if you’re looking for a car, ask for him. We can’t praise him or the Hyundai Dealership enough. You won’t be disappointed. WORST SERVICE DEPT IN TOWN!We took our Tucson in with a WORST SERVICE DEPT IN TOWN! We took our Tucson in with a complaint of a tapping noise during all driving conditions. Dropped the car off and left. Go WORST SERVICE DEPT IN TOWN! We took our Tucson in with a complaint of a tapping noise during all driving conditions. Dropped the car off and left. Got a call saying the front wheel well liners were severally worn and flapping about which is what was causing the tapping. If we do not replace the liners, road debris will get in and cause serious and catastrophic damage. Sounds odd but they are the experts, right? A couple days and $400 later and there is still the tapping noise. Took the car back and they took the entire day to reinspect to find a tie rod was wearing. That will cost another $400. "You folks are the experts and severely blew the diagnosis. Can I get a discount?" A blank stare was all I got. Took the car to Asian Imports Plus where they successfully diagnosed the issue and got us fixed up for a couple hundred dollars. Ask yourself these questions before you take your vehicle to Henderson Hyundai for service: Is this the type of customer service a respectable company would offer? Is this the level of expertise you want working on your car to ensure your safety? Is it in your best interest to take your car to a shop where they are just interested in separating you from your hard-earned cash? Still waiting on a call back from their manager. But, we will never go back and they probably do not care. More
