The Good and The Bad Our Genesis salesperson (Seth Servin) was extremely knowledgeable about all of the features and systems that would come with the vehicle's Ultimate Pa Our Genesis salesperson (Seth Servin) was extremely knowledgeable about all of the features and systems that would come with the vehicle's Ultimate Package. He was very patient and professional in answering all of our questions about the uses of the various systems. Most importantly, he spent a number of hours making sure that my wife was comfortable in handling the car - especially the use of the sensors while parking. This really did build her confidence. Additionally, he made a determined effort to locate a vehicle with the exact exterior and interior colors that we wanted. As for the appearance of the dealership/showroom: We understand that Genesis, while a separate mark, does not yet have its own dedicated dealerships, showrooms, service areas, etc. We do expect that its future facilities will rival those of Lexus. With regard to discussions with finance/leasing department: The customer should be entitled to receive a printed copy of the dollar amounts of items that contribute to the final purchase/lease price. While these items may appear on the purchase/lease documents that the buyer is asked to sign they may not be as easily understood as when they appear on the computer screen in the finance office. When we asked for a hard-copy of the pricing details as they appeared on the computer screen we were told that management would not permit this. We don't understand the reluctance to share this with the buyer/lessee. More
