Terrible Service Experiance Very Terrible service experience, older Hyundai XG300L with only power steering issue at start-up. Thought Dealer (who had done all my previous servic Very Terrible service experience, older Hyundai XG300L with only power steering issue at start-up. Thought Dealer (who had done all my previous service) would be more knowledgeable on older car so took in for diagnostics/repair. Explained to service advisor needed to fix ONLY that issue so concentrate solely on it, nothing else. What a waste, phone estimate came back with cost more expensive than value of car. Refused spend thousands for minor repair and when picked up car discovered very expensive list of issues that had nothing to do with power steering. When requested write-up explaining diagnostics findings got nothing but attitude, and demand for payment to release my car. Never got diagnostics findings, yet required to pay fee. More
BEWARE of service center & misquote prices We purchased our 2013 Sonata last week and brought it back today to get the windows tinted. Our sales person, receptionist, & service agent today quot We purchased our 2013 Sonata last week and brought it back today to get the windows tinted. Our sales person, receptionist, & service agent today quoted us a promotional price of $149 +tax reguarly priced $169 if you didn't purchase at at their dealership. Well we were charged about $169 and tax was only $1+. There was a $30 miscellaneous charge that the service agent or manager couldn't really explain. They said it was materials & other charges but those were already itemized on the receipt. He did not honor any of the original quoted price and just advised they misquoted me. That to me is misrepresentation and quoted prices should have been honored. Also, the other big issue was we brought our car perfect and realized when we got home that there was a dent above the drivers side rear tire. We were placed on hold forever with no communication. When we got there our service agent was like a deer in headlights of how to help us. After reassuring the manager that dent wasn't there when we brought it and after he left us to do whatever he was doing. Our service agent finally came back and advised he would need until Monday for an opening in their auto body department and have a rent a car for us in the meantime. (Hence the 2nd star) We were more upset that the service department was careless with our car and now we are inconvenienced by having to go back to the dealership again for repairs we didn't need. ***Be cautious of your vehicle mileage and take pictures of your car. Make sure they give you a printout of your estimated charges or they'll tack on unnecessary fees and overcharge you*** More
