John Kawamura was the finance guy who i spoke with while trying to get the sale complete. I even told him before hand that i was aware of the finance options through Hyundai Financial. I reviewed what I was qualified for and to which he acknowledged. When it was time to put pen to paper and complete the sale that is when i noticed the monthly payments were far in excess of what the agreed upon price should be. Instead of 4.99% for 72 months John decided to try and pull a fast one which ultimately was shown to be 9.9% APR. I had to ask 3 times to the answer. Three times I asked verbatim "what is the APR %?" before he finally answered instead of saying "this is what the numbers come out to." I'm nearly 50 years old with an almost 900 cedit score. I have bought a multitude of new vehicles in the last 30 years and have never had someone try that kind of game with me. To make the situation even more amusing Mr Kawamura started giving me attitude like I was the one at fault for catching the attempt. Needless to say I had had enough. Now the good news! We ended up purchasing our vehicle eleswhere! There we were treated respectfully and without the deception and attitude. Even though the price was slightly higher at least i knew they were making up the difference on the front end instead of trying to treat me like an idiot and back door me. You are in the business to make money afterall and I'm 100% fine with that as Centennial showed me. I appreciate you reaching out, but the last place I'd ever recommend to coworkers is your store or dealing with John Kawamura. In the past 2 years alone I've received over $800 in vehicle referals from just direct coworkers alone! We have a rather large number of coworkers here in the valley. We like buying new vehicles as most of you guys are aware of. You can bet my experience at Henderson Hyundai will be told and they can decide where to purchase from. Thank you for your time.
