NY State Inspection and oil change Had scheduled to have the annual state inspection and also oil change. The service rep Charlie Durante greeted me right away upon arrival. While completing the service order for work to be done, Charlie noticed in my car's service history, the coolant had not been changed in several years and recommended it be flushed out and cleaned with new coolant added to prevent rust and corrosion of the heating and cooling system. Later during the inspection, it was noted the brakes were low and almost cutting into the rotors and advised that front and rear brakes needed to be replaced and gave me a fair price for the brake work. Not only was I completely satisfied with all of the repair work done but very satisfied with Charlie's attentiveness in making sure my car had additional and necessary repair work done to keep it continually operating safely. Additionally, Charlie even called me the next day to inform me that a rebate for brake repair work was just posted which could be accessed on-line providing the required information. Charlie is a professional in his work and Hempstead Ford Lincoln should be very happy to have him as one of their service reps. Charlie is definitely a testament to the dealership's TV commercials in which they say..."you're treated like family". More

After I picked up my car I found all the hundred dollars of change in the cup holders missing other than a few pennies, and my USB phone charger and cable were missing as well. If I can't trust the dealership to not steal the items in my car, then I don't know who to trust. Crazy. When I received the managers email asking if I was satisfied, I explained what happened. Never got a call or a reply. I did go back for one more service because I had lifetime brakes there. Didn't bring it up because I can get pretty heated and didn't want to make a scene or have them mess with my car. Afterwards, received a call from dealership asking how my service was. I explained what had happened at the last service. The woman on the phone said "OK, sorry to hear that", and just hung up. Never heard from them after that either. Just ridiculous. More

This place has been taking care of my vehicles for years I have been bringing my various Fords in for service for many years. (Of the service advisors, I always go to Karen, and she goes out of her way to ma I have been bringing my various Fords in for service for many years. (Of the service advisors, I always go to Karen, and she goes out of her way to make sure everything goes smoothly - great customer service.) My truck is past the warranty period but I still bring it here for everything (as opposed to small shops and fast lube places) because it doesn't cost an arm and leg and I know it's in good hands. Two thumbs up I bring my truck in for oil changes, tire rotation and everything else the truck needs. The service is second to nun. The people are friendly and want to help you in anyway they can NO RUN AROUND NO B/S. after service is done the truck comes back as clean as I gave it to them. I purchased the truck from them and the service is one of the reasons I keep going back. the service consultant Charlie is great. He get you in and out so you aren't sitting around all day. You don't get treatment like this from a car dealership to often. I tell everyone this is the place to buy KEEP IT UP More

Since then, HFL sends me frequent emails - related to the ownership of my vehicle. I am reminded of service (for my vehicle) when it is due, I am made aware of service specials when they are available, and I am often sent tips on best practices for vehicle ownership. The last three times I brought the truck in for service, I have worked with Charlie Durante (Service Consultant). Charlie is knowledgeable and honest. He knows my truck's service history, and works with me on what is needed in the future. When it came to replacing the tires, he called me before I brought the truck in - so that he could find a tire that worked with my preference for function, look and pricing. He had the tires delivered to the dealer, and they were there waiting for the truck - so that I could have the truck back ASAP. Charlie represents the dealership and Ford in the most professional and courteous way - and he is a great guy in general. When my wife and I are ready for a new vehicle, HFL is the first place we will go. Thank you! More
