Competent staff Ms. Collins and Ms. Wunderlich Work with Ms. Christine Collins in Sales and Ms. Karen Wunderlich in Service at this Lincoln Fold Dealer. They are the cream of the crop! Both Work with Ms. Christine Collins in Sales and Ms. Karen Wunderlich in Service at this Lincoln Fold Dealer. They are the cream of the crop! Both are client-oriented, knowledgeable and pleasant to do business with. I enjoy the comfort and cushy ride of the Lincoln Nautilus and happy that I am driving an US car to give back to American economy. The rest of my experience with Hempstead Ford Lincoln is not competitive with my previous BMW dealer and two other Lincoln dealers namely, Lincoln Courtesy in Portland, Oregon and Gene Messer Lincoln in Amarillo, TX. The quality of the car wash needs much improvement. We were given a loaner car with crumbs on the driver’s seat! More

2020 Explorer ST Update There were issues from the start. During shipment, there was a recall. For whatever reason, Ford corporate stops shipment and makes the repairs before There were issues from the start. During shipment, there was a recall. For whatever reason, Ford corporate stops shipment and makes the repairs before the cars are sent to the dealer. Very stupid in my opinion. There was a 3.5 week delay. After I took possession of the car, I noticed a small paint drip and some light scratches in the paint. Only an OCD person like myself would have caught this. I brought the car back to Hempstead Ford. We both agreed that this imperfection came from the factory. I was really pissed at Ford's quality control, but took it out on Hempstead Ford. John Smisek from Hempstead Ford took ownership of this. He never passed the buck and was always congenial. They took care of this as fast as they could. The car looks fantastic. I went from being highly pissed off to very happy. Stuff happens. I will say that Hemsptead Ford does not pass the buck and appreciates your business even after you hand the check over. For me, that's very important. I would recommend them to friends and family for sure. I'm already planning on using them to replace some company cars. More
Service Center VERY Disappointing Brought my Ford Focus to this service for a transmission recall. Had the car 3 weeks and not took out a part adjusted it and said it was working again Brought my Ford Focus to this service for a transmission recall. Had the car 3 weeks and not took out a part adjusted it and said it was working again. Drove the car home and hesitated yet again. Back to service we went the next day. Had the car for a few days and said nothing wrong with the transmission. Today I get stuck with the car transmission wouldn’t even go forward while in drive. NOTHING WRONG?? How dishonest can you be. The car is under warranty and I have the right for it to be fixed the right way!! So disappointed not only in Ford but the dealerships at Hempstead Fords service center. Guess If you had to pay there would be not problem to fix the car but having it under warranty for such a large problem they just dismiss you until the problem becomes yours! Paperwork they give you with the work they did is completely a joke and and insult to anyones intelligence. Next stop I need to find an attorney! Friendly at first but just didn’t end well. Just horrible!! More

I spoke to Karen the service writer and told her that I have been away and I really needed the oil changed. She stated that should not be a problem and took my car in. It was done in about an hour in a half. I sat in the waiting room which was very clean. When the car was ready I thanked her for getting me in and when I walked out to the car they also ran it thru the car wash. This dealer was very professional and the staff was great as well. Thank you for your assistance. More

10,000 mile checkup My service consultant was Karen. She was extremely professional and friendly. Given the circumstances she was faced with. I would recommend Karen if possible as a service agent. I know I’m only using her. More
