I had a wonderful experience with the sales dept when I bought my 2021 Explorer ST in the beginning of this year. This was my 1st time bringing it in to the service dept. My prior experiences with other bought my 2021 Explorer ST in the beginning of this year. This was my 1st time bringing it in to the service dept. My prior experiences with other dealership service dept was always a problem, so I dreaded bringing my car in. WOW. What an A+ Service Dept here at Hempstead. Karen Wunderlich was wonderful the second I met her. She was welcoming, helpful, cheery, personable and she made the experience easy, smooth and wonderful. She is an amazing human being. She kept me updated with the progress of my vehicle to the point I had NO worries at all. I have never experienced such a professionally run service department as I have with Hempstead Ford. The gentleman, (Bob?) who handled the new lease paperwork I had to sign, was professional and quick. I want to especially thank, however, Dennis Cullen who I've known since I leased my first F150 truck with three years ago. He was very helpful and took great care to make sure I was happy. For this second lease, I was waiting on the delivery of the new Ford 2 door Bronco, and when it turned out that it was probably going to be awhile before I could get it, which meant I would have to continue to extend my old lease, he called me with a suggestion of a Bronco Big Bend which was immediately available. I decided to check it out on his recommendation and when I saw it I loved it and decided to go with it. It also relieved me of having to deal with the inconvenience of having to extend my old lease for months. He made the transition smooth, easy, and quick. I appreciate his friendly professional approach. He's easy to talk with, sincere, honest, and he made me feel comfortable. In the interim when I was waiting on the 2 door he took all my calls, acknowledged all my concerns, and made sure I was satisfied. And he came up with a resolution with the Big Bend. We were getting 2 cars and Dan worked with us and got us the cars we wanted (even got an upgrade in one for the same price).
