I want to take a moment to rate the Hempstead Ford-Lincoln dealership. As you can see, I gave them 5 stars. Dennis Cullen, my sales consultant, was a true professional! His knowledge and experien Ford-Lincoln dealership. As you can see, I gave them 5 stars. Dennis Cullen, my sales consultant, was a true professional! His knowledge and experience in auto sales was far superior to that of the salespeople at the Ford dealership I used for my prior 3 leases. Dennis' approach was quite relaxed, and most importantly, he actually listened to my concerns, and what I could afford! He never once made me feel pressured or that I didn't have options! I love my new 2021 Ford Escape SEL. Hempstead Ford is the best, and I'll always go back to them for my new leases! More
Frank Romeo at Hempstead Ford is incredible! He went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me the awesome car I wanted, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach E. They are SO hard to get them to arrive but Frank got it! On Monday, 05/31/2021 my fiancé and I went to the Ford Hempstead location interested in the Ford Mustang Mach E. My fiancé had done extensive research and was excited to see the car in person, test drive Hempstead location interested in the Ford Mustang Mach E. My fiancé had done extensive research and was excited to see the car in person, test drive and purchase. We had an appointment to see Rick and when we arrived he did greet us however, while checking out the floor model he left to greet other customers who walked in and shortly after stated he would not be able to help us and said another person would. The alternate sales man was helpful in getting the keys to test drive however seemed unconcerned with our observation of the uncleanliness of the test drive model. When returning to the lot post test drive the sales man was adamant about us getting out and returning the key due to someone else that needed to test drive the car. That is understandable yet based off his aggressive nature I was curious to see who was so important that we needed to be rushed out. While looking at the available models the salesman returned and when my fiancé asked questions in regards to the different models there he was aloof in answering. We showed interest in the model with the panoramic roof and star white color we wanted and asked about the tech package instead of answering the question he informs us of a $2,500 premium. We asked what is the basis for the premium he stated “Rick should of told you what it is.” I do not want to assume that we were being prejudged based on appearance, i.e. race and/or age. But the standoffish response and disinterest in our sale was not what I expected when dealing with a Fortune 50 company such as Ford. As essential workers who have been on overdrive this entire pandemic it was disheartening to be treated as optional. My fiancé may be enamored by the vehicle nonetheless customer service is what solidifies trust and comfort in making such a large purchase. Your competitors have been more welcoming maybe this Hempstead location is not up to Ford’s true business standards. (P.S. Although the alternate salesman never gave us his name we found out it is ‘Wimps’ after calling to voice our dissatisfied experience to the sales manager who despite several calls was unavailable, then all of a sudden not there.)
