I live over an hour away and worked with Jamie Joyner to work out all the details through email and phone. I drove over one morning and was out of the dealership within 45 minutes after test driving and signing. This was the easiest car transaction I've ever experienced. The owner of the dealership stopped by while I was there and shook my hand and thanked me for my business. This is the way all buying experiences should be. Jamie has called me twice since the purchase to ask how I was enjoying my truck. Thanks to Jamie and all the staff at Helms Motor Company for a great experience. More
BUYER BEWARE Took off work to take my wife's 2008 Chrysler 300 in for air bag recall. Requested standard maintenance/oil change. Left car over night. Received a Took off work to take my wife's 2008 Chrysler 300 in for air bag recall. Requested standard maintenance/oil change. Left car over night. Received a call that the car needed new tie rod ends and new battery. Agreed to the new tie rod replacement even thought there had been no outward sign these needed to be replaced. Battery was priced at $155.00 plus additional $45.00 to install. Price seemed ridiculous (especially for the installation) Decided to shop around for battery. Cost of oil change. service and tie rod replacement in excess of $300.00. Agreed to service and tie rod ends. Took off work to pick car up the next day and once at home discovered the interior light would not function and the key fob would no longer operate the door locks. Called the dealership and was told to bring car in to reprogram fob. One fob was at my home in Waverly (approx 60 miles away). Requested they replace the 2nd fob and allow me to mail the fob from my Waverly home. Was told fobs cost $200.00 and that would not work for the dealer (found replacement fobs online for $50.00). I explained I was again having taking time off of work to bring the car in to get repairs done for their mistake and the service manager and then Dealership Owner says they ere sorry but I would need to settle for one fob or drive to my Waverly home and bring in both fobs. I plan to drive to pickup the second fob have the reprogramming done and never ever grace the doors of that dealership again.. BUYER BEWARE More
